Vision Services definition

Vision Services means provision of corrective eyewear, including ophthalmological or optometric examinations for determination of visual acuity and vision therapy and devices.
Vision Services means professional work performed by a vision care provider within the scope of his or her practice.
Vision Services means services that include (i) evaluating and assessing visual functioning, including the diagnosis and appraisal of specific visual disorders, delays, and abilities that affect early childhood development; (ii) referring for medical or other professional services necessary for the habilitation or rehabilitation of visual functioning disorders, or both; and (iii) providing communication skills training, orientation and mobility training for all environments, visual training, and additional training necessary to activate visual motor abilities.

  • Coinsurance does not apply to Preventive Care, Dental Services and Vision Services (or Medical Services for Retired Participants as provided in Section 4.1(c)).

  • The Annual Deductible does not apply to Preventive Care, Dental Services and Vision Services.

  • Dental Services and Vision Services are not included in the definition of Covered Health Services.

  • Platinum Level Qualification: Average combined monthly usage fees paid by Customer for Basic FAN Mail Services and Vision Services equal or exceed $25,000.00 ($300,000.00 annually).
