Version Number means a unique series of integer numbers (of one or more digits) and decimal points assigned to each Release. The Version Number is provided in the form of x.y.

Version Number means the first decimal place in the number assigned to any software by the supplier of such software (e.g., the Version number of XYZ 6.2.23 would be 6). A new "Version" means a major software upgrade that adds substantial new features or other significant changes in which the Version Number is incremented (e.g., XYZ 7.0.0 would be a new Version as compared to XYZ 6.2.23).
