Utility Group definition

Utility Group means Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc., Jersey Central Power & Light Company, Long Island Lighting Company d/b/a LIPA, Metropolitan Edison Company, Orange and Rockland Utilities, PECO Energy Company, Potomac Electric Power Company, PP&L Electric Utilities Corporation, Public Service Electric and Gas Company, and Virginia Electric and Power Company.
Utility Group means a group of Parties recognized by the Committee as having unique, common and similar interests for purposes of nominating and electing one representative to serve on the Committee. The Committee may from time to time make changes in the number, nature or classification of Utility Groups by action taken in accordance with Section 7. The Utility Groups on the date of this Agreement are set forth in the attached Exhibit C.
Utility Group means HEI and each Person, other than any member of the Bank Group, that is an Affiliate of HEI as of the Distribution Time or that is an Affiliate of HEI immediately after the Distribution Time (but prior to the Effective Time); provided that this term does not include employees, officers, directors or other natural persons.

  • Service Group means any one or more (as the context may require) of the service groups described in this Schedule;

  • Utility Services means physical plant including but not limited to pipes, valves, conduits, cables, terminals, transformers, etc. owned and operated by communications, television, hydro, gas and oil companies or any other utility companies.

  • Electric Service means the furnishing of electric power and energy for lighting, heating, power, or any other purpose for which electric power and energy can be used;

  • distribution system operator means a natural or legal person responsible for operating, ensuring the maintenance of and, if necessary, developing the distribution system in a given area and, where applicable, its interconnections with other systems and for ensuring the long-term ability of the system to meet reasonable demands for the distribution of electricity;

  • Utility line means any item of public or private property which is buried or placed below ground

  • Indemnitee-Related Entities means any corporation, limited liability company, partnership, joint venture, trust, employee benefit plan or other enterprise (other than the Company or any other corporation, limited liability company, partnership, joint venture, trust, employee benefit plan or other enterprise Indemnitee has agreed, on behalf of the Company or at the Company’s request, to serve as a director, officer, employee or agent and which service is covered by the indemnity described in this Agreement) from whom an Indemnitee may be entitled to indemnification or advancement of expenses with respect to which, in whole or in part, the Company may also have an indemnification or advancement obligation (other than as a result of obligations under an insurance policy).

  • financial service provider means a person engaged in the business of providing financial services in terms of authorisation issued or registration granted by a financial sector regulator;
