Use of the Vehicle. The Vehicle must NOT be used:

  • By way of summary, these charges include, but are not limited to any costs or fines arising under clause 4 (Delivery and return of the Vehicle), clause 7 (Late drop-offs), clause 8 (Late pick-ups), clause 9 (Rental extension), clause 16 (Use of the Vehicle), clause 18 (On-road assistance), clause 22 (Vehicle Damage), clause 27 (Toll and Traffic Offences), and clause 33 (Terminating the Agreement and repossessing the Vehicle).

  • Loss Damage Waiver; Prohibited Use of the Vehicle; Roadside Assistance.LDW and PDW are not insurance, are optional, and may duplicate other coverage that you have.

  • If any personal injury is sustained relating to Your Use of the Vehicle, You shall file a report with the local police department and notify Wheels of the same within 24 hours.

  • Any notation on the Bill of Lading which in any way limits or denies carrier access to the vehicle in which the shipment is loaded, shall be deemed by the carrier to require Exclusive Use of the Vehicle service in accordance with the provisions of Item 470 of this tariff.

  • Damages for Loss of Use of the Vehicle however caused and whether or not You are responsible for such loss unless the loss is due to Our fault or negligence or Our breach of this Contract.

  • You will be responsible for the cost of restoring the Vehicle to its original condition and to pay reasonable compensation for Our Loss of Use of the Vehicle if the work or modifications causes damage and/or loss to the Vehicle that needs to be rectified before it can be rented out to another customer.

  • Use of the Vehicle for illegal purposes, such as towing, competitions or training for these, educational driving or driving on ice is prohibited.

  • Arising from any violation in the Conditions of Use of the Vehicle hired from the Policyholder as described in the Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement unless an Insured Person or their legal representative satisfy the Underwriters that the Accident was totally unconnected with such violation.

  • You are not covered for any loss or liability where the vehicle or anything attached to the vehicle is not being used in accordance with the description in Use of the Vehicle (as described in Section One of this policy).

  • Use of the Vehicle may be remotely monitored by LESSOR or on LESSOR’S behalf through a Telematics System to the extent permitted by law.

Related to Use of the Vehicle

  • the vehicle means the vehicle named in the licence.

  • Junk vehicle means a vehicle of any age that is damaged or defective in any one or combination of any of the following ways that either makes the vehicle immediately inoperable, or would prohibit the vehicle from being operated in a reasonably safe manner upon the public streets and highways under its own power if self-propelled, or while being towed or pushed, if not self-propelled:

  • Livery vehicle means a motor vehicle that:

  • Light vehicle means a motor vehicle commonly referred to as an automobile, van, sport utility

  • All-terrain vehicle means either of the following:

  • All-terrain type I vehicle means the same as that term is defined in Section 41-22-2.

  • Salvage vehicle means any vehicle which is within the last ten (10) model years and which has been damaged by collision or other occurrence to the extent that the cost of repairing the vehicle for safe operation on the highway exceeds sixty percent (60%) of its fair market value, as defined by Section 1111 of this title, immediately prior to the damage. For purposes of this section, actual repair costs shall only include labor and parts for actual damage to the suspension, motor, transmission, frame or unibody and designated structural components;

  • Heavy Vehicle has the meaning given to it in the HNVL.

  • Nonroad Vehicle means a vehicle that is powered by a Nonroad Engine, fifty horsepower and greater, and that is not a Motor Vehicle or a vehicle used solely for competition, which shall include, but not be limited to, excavators, backhoes, cranes, compressors, generators, bulldozers and similar equipment, except that this terms shall not apply to horticultural maintenance vehicles used for landscaping purposes that are powered by a Nonroad Engine of sixty-five horsepower or less and that are not used in any construction program or project.

  • Recreational vehicle means a vehicle which is:

  • Tank vehicle means a commercial motor vehicle that is designed to transport any liquid or gaseous materials within a tank or tanks having an individual rated capacity of more than one hundred nineteen gallons and an aggregate rated capacity of one thousand gallons or more that is either permanently or temporarily attached to the vehicle or chassis. A commercial motor vehicle transporting an empty storage container tank not designed for transportation with a rated capacity of one thousand gallons or more that is temporarily attached to a flatbed trailer is not considered a tank vehicle.

  • Recreational Vehicle (RV means a vehicle, which is:

  • Replica vehicle means every vehicle of a type required to be registered under this title not fully

  • Bi-fuel vehicle means a vehicle with two separate fuel storage systems that is designed to run primarily on only one fuel at a time; however, the simultaneous use of both fuels is permitted in limited amount and duration.

  • Unladen vehicle means a vehicle without a driver, or passenger, and unladen, but with its fuel tank full and its normal complement of tools;

  • Your vehicle means an Eligible Vehicle purchased by You being the vehicle specified on the certificate of insurance.

  • Custom vehicle means a motor vehicle other than a motorcycle that:

  • base vehicle means any vehicle which is used at the initial stage of a multi-stage type-approval process;

  • Retail facility means a premises, or part of a premises, that are used wholly or predominantly for the sale or hire of goods by retail, the retail provision of services and includes a market, retail shopping centre and supermarkets;

  • Utility vehicle means a motor vehicle that is (i) designed for off-road use, (ii) powered by an

  • passenger vehicle means a motor vehicle (other than a motor cycle or invalid carriage) constructed solely for the carriage of passengers and their effects and adapted to carry not more than twelve passengers exclusive of the driver, and not drawing a trailer;

  • Rental Vehicle means a New Vehicle less than two years old owned by a New Vehicle Borrower and purchased directly from a manufacturer as a New Vehicle and that is used as a service loaner vehicle or is periodically subject to a rental contract with customers of the New Vehicle Borrower for loaner or rental periods of up to thirty (30) consecutive days or is used by dealership personnel in connection with parts and service operations.

  • Laden vehicle means, except where otherwise stated, a vehicle so laden as to attain its "maximum mass".

  • Medium-duty vehicle or “MDV” means any pre-1995 model year heavy-duty vehicle having a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating of 8,500 pounds or less; any 1992 through 2006 model-year heavy-duty low-emission, ultra-low-emission, super-ultra-low-emission or zero-emission vehicle certified to the standards in Section E.1.1.1, or in title 13, CCR, section 1962, having a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating of 14,000 pounds or less; any 1995 through 2002 model year heavy-duty vehicle certified to the Tier 1 standards in Section E.1.1.1 having a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating of 14,000 pounds or less; and any 2000 and subsequent model heavy-duty low-emission, ultra-low-emission, super-ultra-low-emission or zero-emission vehicle certified to the standards in Section E.1.1.2, or in title 13, CCR, section 1962, having a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating between 8,501 and 14,000 pounds.

  • Off-highway vehicle means the same as that term is defined in Section 41-22-2.

  • Off-Road Vehicle means any vehicle while it is being operated on a road not maintained by a federal, provincial, state, or local agency, not including entrance or departure ways to private property, or any vehicle which cannot be licensed to drive on a public road and is designed and manufactured primarily for off-road usage.
