Use of Personal Data means an operation performed upon personal data, which may be directly or indirectly aimed at delivering decisions or forming opinions or acquiring rights or granting rights or privileges or restricting or depriving of rights or achieving other purpose, which give rise or may give rise to legal consequences for the data subject or third parties or otherwise relate to the rights and freedoms thereof;
Use of Personal Data. By accepting this award, you have acknowledged that the Firm may use your personal data for purposes of (i) determining your compensation, (ii) payroll activities, including, but not limited to, tax withholding and regulatory reporting, (iii) registration of shares and units, (iv) establishing brokerage account on your behalf, and (v) all other lawful purposes related to your employment and this award and that the Firm may provide such data to third party vendors with whom it has contracted to provide such services. You may terminate this authorization at any time except with respect to tax and regulatory reporting. In such case, your award will be cancelled.Governing Law: This award shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.Choice of Forum: By accepting this award, you agree that to the extent not otherwise subject to arbitration under an arbitration agreement between you and the Firm, any dispute arising directly or indirectly in connection with this award or the Plan shall be submitted to arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association if so elected by the Firm in its sole discretion. In the event such a dispute is not subject to arbitration for any reason, you agree to accept the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York with respect to any judicial proceeding in connection with this award or the Plan. You waive, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any objection to personal jurisdiction or to the laying of venue of such dispute and further agree not to commence any action arising out of or relating to this award or the Plan in any other forum.Waiver of Jury Trial/Class Claims: By accepting this award, you agree, with respect to any claim brought in connection with your employment with the Firm in any forum (i) to waive the right to a jury trial and (ii) that any judicial proceeding or arbitration claim will be brought on an individual basis, and you hereby waive any right to submit, initiate, or participate in a representative capacity or as a plaintiff, claimant or member in a class action, collective action, or other representative or joint action. Use of Personal Data. By accepting this award, you acknowledge that the Firm may process your personal data for the purposes of providing you this award (to include registration of shares and units or establishing a brokerage account on your behalf) and disclosing to third parties, such as service providers or tax and regulatory authorities (e.g., for compensation reporting and payroll tax withholding purposes). Additionally, you agree that the Firm may transfer your personal data to jurisdictions that do not afford protections equivalent to the protections in the country in which we collected your data. Where applicable law provides a right to terminate the foregoing authorization, you may do so at any time, except with respect to tax and regulatory reporting and the Firm’s legal and regulatory obligations. In the event you terminate this authorization, your award will be cancelled.

Use of Personal Data means the collecting, storing, using, processing, disclosing, transferring, transmitting, and/or otherwise handling by any other means of any Personal Data.

  • processing of personal data (“processing”) shall mean any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organisation, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, blocking, erasure or destruction;

  • Special categories of personal data means information about an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health, sex life or sexual orientation and biometric data.

  • Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;

  • Customer Personal Data means the personal data contained within the Customer Data.

  • Electronic Protected Health Information means Protected Health Information that is maintained in or transmitted by electronic media.
