University Data definition

University Data means any information, in an electronic, written, or oral form, that is made available to the Contractor by the University. University Data includes, but is not limited to, PII, trade secrets, sales and marketing plans, financial data, supplier information, and intellectual property.
University Data means all records and information created, received, maintained, or transmitted by the University which is accessed, created, used, stored, copied, or distributed by Vendor, in connection with the Work under the Contract.
University Data means all Personal Data belonging to the University which is from time to time Processed (as defined below) under this Contract by the Contractor and/or on the Contractor’s behalf including but not limited to all electronic data or information submitted by the University and/or the users of the University’s information technology systems and any Personal Data provided by or on behalf of the University and any Personal Data in respect of any student of the University. A schedule of University Data at appendix 2 will identify all the categories of University Data captured.

Examples of University Data in a sentence

  • The Contractor’s notification shall give the University sufficient time to object to the disclosure, obtain a protective order, or otherwise protect University Data by limiting disclosure.

  • If the Contractor receives any subpoena, discovery request, court order, or other legal request or order that calls for disclosure of any University Data, then the Contractor shall promptly notify the University unless specifically prohibited by law from doing so.

  • As part of the winding up of services, associated with the expiration or termination of the Contract, the Contractor shall follow the University’s instructions as to the preservation, transfer, or destruction of University Data.

  • Contractor represents and warrants that, with regard to protecting the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of University Data, the Work shall be undertaken with all due care, skill and judgment commensurate with good professional practices.

  • Contractor represents and warrants the Work, the handling of University Data, and the general conduct of business with University, shall be undertaken in full compliance with all applicable statutes, regulations, rules, standards and orders of any official body with jurisdiction over Contractor Group or University.


More Definitions of University Data

University Data has the meaning set forth in Section 9.1.
University Data means all records and information created, received, maintained, or transmitted by the University, which are accessed, created, used, stored, copied, or distributed by Contractor, in connection with the Work under the Contract. University Data which meets the criteria for the definition of University Personal Data, as defined within the University Data Processing Agreement (DPA), herein incorporated by reference, should be first interpreted under the DPA, and only interpreted as University Data to the extent that the DPA is not dispositive of the issue.
University Data means all records and information created, received, maintained, or transmitted by the University which is accessed, created, used, stored, copied, or distributed by Supplier, in connection with the Work under the Contract.
University Data means data created, received, maintained, or transmitted by or on behalf of the University through the course of its academic, administrative, research, or outreach activities. Examples of University Data include, but are not limited to:
University Data means the Personal Data Processed by (or on behalf of) the University under or in connection with this Agreement as more particularly described in Appendix 1 (Data Processing Particulars).
University Data means the information, formulae, algorithms, or other content provided, created, modified or inputted by or on behalf of University or any User in connection with their authorized use of the Services, including without limitation: all Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) (including, without limitation, bank account and credit card account information and personal information, such as name, address, and social security numbers), Protected Health Information (“PHI”) as defined in Section 7(c) below, other non-public information; status or other reports, student data; metadata; user content; University’s logo, name, trademark, and proprietary information; and the RFP.
University Data includes Protected University Data and any other information that is created, possessed or used by the University or is intentionally made generally available by the University on public websites or publications, including but not limited to business, administrative and financial data, intellectual property, and patient, student, and personnel data.
