Country concerned means any country, other than the United States and its outlying areas, in which expenditures under this contract are made.
supervisory authority concerned means a supervisory authority which is concerned by the processing of personal data because:
the public concerned means the public affected or likely to be affected by, or having an interest in, the environmental decision-making; for the purposes of this definition, non-governmental organizations promoting environmental protection and meeting any requirements under national law shall be deemed to have an interest.
Joint Venture Investment means, with respect to any Obligor, any Investment by such Obligor in a joint venture or other investment vehicle in the form of a capital investment, loan or other commitment in or to such joint venture or other investment vehicle pursuant to which such Obligor may be required to provide contributions, investments, or financing to such joint venture or other investment vehicle and which Investment the Borrower has designated as a “Joint Venture Investment”.

Tourist means a person who travels from a place of residence to a different town, city, county, state, or country, for purposes of business, pleasure, recreation, education, arts, heritage, or culture.

Daily Concentration means the concentration of a substance as measured in a daily composite sample, or, arithmetic average of all grab sample results defining a grab sample average.
Cannabis concentrate means cannabis that has undergone a process to concentrate one or more active cannabinoids, thereby increasing the product’s potency. Resin from granular trichomes from a cannabis plant is a concentrate for purposes of this division. A cannabis concentrate is not considered food, as defined by Section 109935 of the Health and Safety Code, or a drug, as defined by Section 109925 of the Health and Safety Code.
Permitted Joint Venture Investment means an Investment by such Person in any other Person engaged in the Oil and Gas Business (a) over which such Person is responsible (either directly or through a services agreement) for day-to-day operations or otherwise has operational and managerial control of such other Person, or veto power over significant management decisions affecting such other Person, and (b) of which at least 30% of the outstanding Equity Interests of such other Person are at the time owned directly or indirectly by such Person.
Cannabis establishment means a cannabis cultivator, a cannabis manufacturer, a cannabis wholesaler, or a cannabis retailer.
Compound of Concern means a contaminant that, based on generally available information, may be emitted to the atmosphere in a quantity from any source at the Facility that is significant either in comparison to the relevant Ministry Point of Impingement Limit or if a Ministry Point of Impingement Limit is not available for the compound then, based on generally available toxicological information, the compound has the potential to cause an adverse effect as defined by the EPA at a Point of Impingement.
Women-owned business concern means a concern which is at least 51 percent owned by one or more women; or in the case of any publicly owned business, at least 51 percent of its stock is owned by one or more women; and whose management and daily business operations are controlled by one or more women.
Small Diversity business concern means a small business concern that is at least fifty-one (51) percent unconditionally owned by one or more individuals who are both socially and economically diverse, or a publicly owned business that has at least fifty-one (51) percent of its stock unconditionally owned by one or more socially and economically diverse individuals and that has its management and daily business controlled by one or more such individuals. This term also means a small business concern that is at least fifty-one (51) percent unconditionally owned by an economically diverse Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian Organization, or a publicly owned business that has at least fifty-one (51) percent of its stock unconditionally owned by one of these entities, that has its management and daily business controlled by members of an economically diverse Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian organization.
Internationally active insurance group means an insurance holding company system:
Manicurist means an individual who engages in the practice of manicuring but no other branch of cosmetology in a licensed facility.
PIPE Investment has the meaning specified in the Recitals hereto.
Qualified student means a resident of this state who:
iron ore concentrates means products (whether in pellet or other form) resulting from secondary processing but does not include metallised agglomerates;

University College means a college which the University may establish or maintain under this Act or a college transferred to the University and maintained by it;
publicly accountable enterprise means a publicly accountable enterprise as defined in Part 3 of National Instrument 52-107 Acceptable Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards;
Interscholastic Activities means athletic or non-athletic/academic activities where students compete on a school vs. school basis.
Area of concern or “AOC” shall mean any area that has had a probable release of a hazardous waste or hazardous constituents and that is determined by the Department to pose a current or potential threat to human health or the environment.
Investment Enterprise means an enterprise to which the Borrower proposes to make or has made an Investment Sub-loan;
We/Our/Us means the Underwriters named in the Schedule.
