Unit NQC definition

Unit NQC means the Net Qualifying Capacity established by the CAISO for the applicable Unit.
Unit NQC means the Net Qualifying Capacity set by the CAISO for the applicable Unit. The Parties agree that if the CAISO adjusts the Net Qualifying Capacity of a Unit after the Confirmation Effective Date, that for the period in which the adjustment is effective, the Unit NQC shall be deemed the lesser of (i) the Unit NQC as of the Confirmation Effective Date, or (ii) the CAISO-adjusted Net Qualifying Capacity.
Unit NQC means, with respect to a Unit on any date of determination, the lesser of Net Qualifying Capacity of the Unit as set by CAISO as of (x) the Confirmation Effective Date and (y) such date of determination. APPENDIX B

Examples of Unit NQC in a sentence

  • If the Unit experiences such a reduction in Unit NQC and/or Unit EFC, then Seller has the option, but not the obligation, upon written notice to Buyer by the Notification Deadline, to provide the applicable Contract Quantity for such Showing Month from (i) the same Unit, provided the Unit has sufficient remaining and available Product, and/or (ii) Alternate Capacity up to the Contract Quantity.

  • Seller’s obligation to deliver the applicable Contract Quantity for any Showing Month may also be reduced by Seller if the Unit experiences a reduction in Unit NQC and/or Unit EFC as determined by the CAISO.

  • In such an event, the Unit Contract Quantity for such Unit shall be reduced by the product of (i) the difference in the Unit NQC as specified in Appendix A and the then current Unit NQC and (ii) the applicable Prorated Percentage of Unit Factor for such Unit.

  • In connection with such a request, SCE may request that Seller shall cause each Storage Unit’s SC to propose to the CAISO that the Unit NQC or Unit EFC for any Storage Unit be changed.

  • Seller shall notify SCE within three (3) Business Days after it, or the Storage Unit’s SC, receives notice from the CAISO, or Seller or the Storage Unit’s SC becomes aware, that the Unit NQC or Unit EFC of any Storage Unit has changed, regardless of whether there is an increase or decrease in any such Unit NQC or Unit EFC.
