Unique identification code definition

Unique identification code or “UIC” means the unique code that the Bank provides to the Client and/or the Authorised Person to use it as proof of identification of the Client and/or Authorised Person in accordance with applicable legislation.
Unique identification code means the combination of letters, numbers or symbols communicated to the payment service user by the payment service provider, and to be provided by the payment service user in order to accurately identify the other user of the payment services and/or their payment account for a payment transaction - for example, IBAN/BBAN/account number.
