Uninstructed Imbalance Energy definition

Uninstructed Imbalance Energy shall have the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

Uninstructed Imbalance Energy or any successor term, has the meaning set forth in the Tariff. To the extent this Tariff definition refers to or is applicable to a generation resource, such definition shall apply to the Storage Unit(s) as if the Storage Unit(s) are generation resources; provided, it shall only apply to the Storage Unit(s)’ ability to discharge energy and for instances where the Storage Unit(s) are discharging energy.

Examples of Uninstructed Imbalance Energy in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary, Seller shall be responsible for all CAISO charges or payments incurred as a consequence of the Project not being available, Seller failing to notifying Buyer of outages in a timely manner as set forth in Article 17, or deviations from Scheduled Energy that are attributable to the operation of the Project, including, but not limited to Uninstructed Imbalance Energy charges, Uninstructed Deviation Penalties and Ancillary Services No-Pay.

  • The CAISO will settle the Uninstructed Imbalance Energy with the EIM Participating Resource’s Scheduling Coordinator at the 5-minute Locational Marginal Price.

  • For the purposes of calculating the quantity of Uninstructed Imbalance Energy not used to perform Load following, MSS Load Following Energy, which is classified as Instructed Imbalance Energy, will be included in the calculation of Uninstructed Imbalance Energy by netting MSS Load Following Energy against Uninstructed Imbalance Energy.

  • For EIM Participating Resources and an EIM Entity Balancing Authority Area’s dynamic import/export schedules with external resources, the CAISO will calculate Uninstructed Imbalance Energy as the algebraic difference between the 5-minute meter data and the dispatch trajectory between consecutive 5-minute dispatches, taking into account the applicable resource ramp rate.

  • The CAISO will settle the Uninstructed Imbalance Energy at the five-minute Locational Marginal Price with the EIM Entity Scheduling Coordinator.

  • The CAISO will settle Uninstructed Imbalance Energy with the EIM Entity at the hourly real-time LAP price described in Section 11.5.2.2.

  • MSS Load Following Energy shall be netted against Uninstructed Imbalance Energy to properly account for the actual quantity of Net Negative Uninstructed Deviation.

  • The CAISO will calculate the EIM Area neutrality amount to be recovered on a 5-minute basis as the sum of the settlement amounts for Instructed Imbalance Energy, Uninstructed Imbalance Energy, Unaccounted For Energy, EIM Balancing Authority Area real time market neutrality, real-time ancillary service congestion revenues, and virtual awards, if applicable, less the real-time congestion balancing account.

  • Imbalance Energy has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

  • Imbalance means the difference between Deliveries to KUB for a Customer and Redeliveries by KUB to the Customer.

  • Vapor balance system means a combination of pipes or hoses which create a closed system between the vapor spaces of an unloading tank and a receiving tank such that vapors displaced from the receiving tank are transferred to the tank being unloaded.

  • Routing Point means the location which a LEC has designated on its own network as the homing or routing point for traffic inbound to Exchange Service provided by the LEC which bears a certain NPA-NXX designation. The Routing Point is employed to calculate mileage measurements for the distance-sensitive transport element charges of Switched Access services. The Routing Point need not be the same as the Rating Point, nor must it be located within the Rate Center area, but must be in the same LATA as the NPA-NXX.

  • Imbalance Charges means any fees, penalties, costs or charges (in cash or in kind) assessed by a Transporter for failure to satisfy the Transporter's balance and/or nomination requirements.

  • Planned External Financed Generation Capacity Resource means a Planned External Generation Capacity Resource that, prior to August 7, 2015, has an effective agreement that is the equivalent of an Interconnection Service Agreement, has submitted to the Office of the Interconnection the appropriate certification attesting achievement of Financial Close, and has secured at least 50 percent of the MWs of firm transmission service required to qualify such resource under the deliverability requirements of the Reliability Assurance Agreement.

  • Gas Supply Deficiency means any occurrence relating to Seller's gas supply which causes Seller to deliver less than the total requirements of its system, including failures of suppliers to deliver gas for any reason, requirement of gas for system storage, conservation of gas for future delivery, or any other occurrence which is not enumerated herein which affects Seller's gas supply.

  • Non-Methane Hydrocarbons (NMHC means the sum of all hydrocarbon air pollutants except methane.

  • High global warming potential hydrofluorocarbons means any hydrofluorocarbons in a particular end use for which EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) program has identified other acceptable alternatives that have lower global warming potential. The SNAP list of alternatives is found at 40 CFR part 82, subpart G, with supplemental tables of alternatives available at (http://www.epa.gov/snap/ ).

  • INTER-CONNECTION POINT/ DELIVERY/ METERING POINT means a single point at 220kV or above, where the power from the Project(s) is injected into the identified ISTS Substation (including the dedicated transmission line connecting the Projects with the substation system) as specified in the RfS document. Metering shall be done at this interconnection point where the power is injected into. For interconnection with grid and metering, the WPDs shall abide by the relevant CERC/ SERC Regulations, Grid Code and Central Electricity Authority (Installation and Operation of Meters) Regulations, 2006 as amended and revised from time to time.

  • Planned Financed Generation Capacity Resource means a Planned Generation Capacity Resource that, prior to August 7, 2015, has an effective Interconnection Service Agreement and has submitted to the Office of the Interconnection the appropriate certification attesting achievement of Financial Close.

  • Wasteload allocation or "wasteload" or "WLA" means the portion of a receiving surface water's loading or assimilative capacity allocated to one of its existing or future point sources of pollution. WLAs are a type of water quality-based effluent limitation.
