Underrepresented Groups definition

Underrepresented Groups means women, persons with disabilities, visible minorities, LGBTQ2S+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Two Spirit and additional sexual orientations and gender identities), and youth (ages 16 to 24).
Underrepresented Groups means students who are a member of a minority class, including, but not limited to, the following:

More Definitions of Underrepresented Groups

Underrepresented Groups means African-Americans, Native Americans, Hispanic-Americans, or other persons populations that are underrepresented in medicine, dentistry, nursing, or other health professions as determined by the board. After January 1, 1990, the board, department. The department, upon a finding that the action is necessary to meet the health care needs of medically underserved areas, may add a group comprising the economically disadvantaged to those groups authorized to receive assistance under this article. The department shall recognize that it is especially important that medical and dental care be provided in a way that is sensitive to the sociocultural variables that affect a person’s health.
Underrepresented Groups means groups having fewer classified employees by racial or ethnic minority, handicap, or sex within a class or job category than:

Related to Underrepresented Groups

  • Represented person means the principal, beneficiary, partnership, corporation, or other person to whom the duty stated in subdivision (a) is owned.
