UCP 600 definition

UCP 600 means the rules of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, as most recently published by the International Chamber of Commerce and in effect as of July 1, 2007 (or such later version thereof as may be in effect at the time of issuance).
UCP 600 means, with respect to any Letter of Credit, the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, International Chamber of Commerce (“ICC”) Publication No. 600 (or such later version thereof as may be in effect at the time of issuance).
UCP 600 has the meaning specified therefor in Section 3.02(b).

  • If a Letter of Credit is issued subject to UCP 600, unless otherwise agreed, in the event that any installment of the Letter of Credit is not drawn within the period allowed for that installment, the Letter of Credit may continue to be available for any subsequent installments in the sole discretion of Issuing Bank, notwithstanding Article 32 of UCP 600.
