Type 3 categorisation means that the issue identified will be noted with an expectation that it will be resolved by the applicant during the supervision activities after the granting of the single safety certificate. When multiple issues have been categorised as “type 3”, an authority may decide to refrain from issuing the single safety certificate until these are resolved.
