Tsawwassen Lands definition

Tsawwassen Lands means the lands set out in Appendix C-4 of the Tsawwassen First Nation Final Agreement as Tsawwassen Lands, as amended from time to time under that agreement;
Tsawwassen Lands means the lands set out in Appendix C-4 of the final agreement as Tsawwassen lands, as amended from time to time under that agreement, and includes all subsurface resources on or beneath the surface of those lands;
Tsawwassen Lands means the lands identified in the Final Agreement as Tsawwassen Lands and Other Tsawwassen Lands;

Examples of Tsawwassen Lands in a sentence

  • A person must not use a weapon while on Tsawwassen Lands except in accordance with the Criminal Code, the Firearms Act of Canada and this regulation.

  • A Tsawwassen Member may use a weapon on Tsawwassen Lands in accordance with the terms, conditions, restrictions and requirements of a valid and subsisting licence or permit issued to that person by the chief firearms officer.

  • If, at any time, any parcel of Tsawwassen Lands, or any estate or interest in a parcel of Tsawwassen Lands, finally escheats to British Columbia, British Columbia will transfer, at no charge, that parcel, estate or interest to Tsawwassen First Nation.

  • For Stage 2, the following exchange rates were used: FY21 A$/US$ 0.70; FY22 A$/US$ 0.71; FY23 A$/US$ 0.72; FY24 A$/US$ 0.73; and FY25+ A$/US$ 0.75.

  • Tsawwassen First Nation will own all timber resources on Tsawwassen Lands, and will receive $100,000 from Canada and British Columbia to establish a Forest Resources Fund.

Tsawwassen Lands means the lands set out in Appendix C-24 of the final agreement as Tsawwassen Lands;
Tsawwassen Lands means the lands that are described opposite the name of Tsawwassen First Nation in Schedule 1 to the Federal Act.

  • Crown lands has the same meaning as is given to that term by the Land Act;

  • Indian lands means lands owned by the United States and held for the use or benefit of Indian tribes or bands or individ- ual Indians and lands within the boundaries of a federally recog- nized reservation that are owned by Indian tribes or bands or indi- vidual Indians.

  • Lands means the purchase of real property or interest in real property.

  • Subject Lands means the lands subject to or covered by the oil and gas leases described in Exhibit A, insofar and only insofar as they are located within the AMI Area and cover the Target Formation, subject to the exceptions, exclusions and reservations set forth on such Exhibit A.

  • Indian land means the lands of any Indian Tribe or within Indian country.

  • Said Land shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Recital XV of this Deed and which is more fully and particularly described in the Second Schedule written hereunder and delineated and demarcated in Annexure – B hereto;

  • communal land means land under the jurisdiction of a traditional council determined in terms of section 6 of the Eastern Cape Traditional Leadership and Governance Act, (Act 4 of 2005) and which was at any time vested in -

  • the Land means the land (including for the avoidance of doubt all buildings, structures landscaping and other erections) situated at and known as Xxxxxxx School Xxxxxxxxxxx Xxxx Xxxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx XX00 0XX and registered under Title Number WT292137;

  • Surface waters means all waters of the state as defined in G.S. 143-212 except underground waters

  • Surface mining means mining by removing the overburden lying above the natural deposits and excavating directly from the natural deposits exposed, or by excavating directly from deposits lying exposed in their natural state and shall include dredge operations conducted in or on natural waterways or artificially created waterways within the state.

  • Land means the land described in Exhibit A.

  • Surface water means all water which is open to the atmosphere and subject to surface runoff.

  • Riparian area means the transition area between flowing water and terrestrial (land) ecosystems composed of trees, shrubs and surrounding vegetation which serve to stabilize erodible soil, improve both surface and ground water quality, increase stream shading and enhance wildlife habitat.

  • adjacent land means all land that borders a property and all land that would have bordered a property, if they were not separated by a river, road, railway line, power transmission line, pipeline, or a similar feature;

  • Plant Site (Works, Factory) means the local integration of one or more plants, with any intermediate administrative levels, which are under one operational control, and includes common infrastructure, such as:

  • Water well means an excavation that is drilled, cored, bored, augered, washed, driven, dug, jetted, or otherwise constructed for the purpose of exploring for groundwater, monitoring groundwater, utilizing the geothermal properties of the ground, or extracting water from or injecting water into the aquifer. “Water well” does not include an open ditch or drain tiles or an excavation made for obtaining or prospecting for oil, natural gas, minerals, or products mined or quarried.

  • Water surface elevation means the height, in relation to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD) of 1929, the North American Vertical Datum (NAVD) of 1988, or other datum, where specified, of floods of various magnitudes and frequencies in the floodplains of riverine areas.

  • urban areas means the areas covered by all Municipal Corporations and other Municipalities including the areas falling under the various Urban Development Authorities, Cantonment Authorities and industrial estates or townships, excluding the areas covered under Class-I Cities;

  • Drainage area means a geographic area within which stormwater, sediments, or dissolved materials drain to a particular receiving waterbody or to a particular point along a receiving waterbody.

  • Tract means 2 or more parcels that share a common property line and are under the same ownership.

  • Refinery means a facility used to produce motor fuel from crude oil, unfinished oils, natural gas liquids, or other hydrocarbons and from which motor fuel may be removed by pipeline, by marine vessel, or at a rack.

  • Submerged lands means those lands which are inundated by water on a seasonal or more frequent basis.

  • ILUA Area means the geographical area in relation to which the Framework ILUA applies, as specified in Schedule 2 of the Framework ILUA;
