Transportation component definition

Transportation component means when a center uses center owned vehicles, vehicles of staff or volunteers, or other private or contracted transportation to transport children for any reason. Transportation component does not include either of the following:

Centers under this authority would not be required to complete a comprehensive background check on the transportation staff through the Child Care Background Check System.
