Transport Cost definition

Transport Cost is the sum of the following SoCalGas rate components (or any additional, replacement or successor components mutually agreed to in writing by the Parties) for transportation of natural gas to the Gas Delivery Point expressed in $/MMBtu: the applicable rate(s) set forth in the Gas Transportation Contract; and if applicable, SoCalGas Schedule No. G-MSUR, Transported Gas Municipal Surcharge. Furthermore, Seller agrees that it is solely responsible for the “Surcharge to Fund the CPUC Utilities Reimbursement Account” that is set forth in SoCalGas Rate Schedule No. G-SRF. Seller bears sole responsibility for obtaining an exemption from SoCalGas for the Rate Schedule No. G-SRF and Seller shall pay all or any portion of the surcharge for which it does not obtain the exemption. SCE shall have no liability for the surcharge and Seller shall indemnify, defend, and hold SCE harmless against any costs or losses of SCE resulting from the surcharge set forth in Rate Schedule No. G-SRF.
Transport Cost has the meaning set forth in Section 16.08(b).

  • Contract Cost means the Contract Sum plus Price Variation. This cost shall be included in the letter of acceptance.
