trade effluent definition

trade effluent means any liquid either with or without particles of matter in suspension therein which is wholly or in part produced in the course of any trade or industry carried on at the trade premises, and in relation to any trade premises means any such liquid as aforesaid which is so produced in the course of any trade or industry carried on at those premises, but does not include domestic sewage;
trade effluent means any liquid, either with or without particles of matter in suspension therein, which is the outflow from any trade, business or manufacture or of any works of engineering or building construction;
trade effluent means the solid or liquid waste of any trade, business or manufacture.

  • In the course of each Sampling Visit, the Licensee will carry out site-specific observations in accordance with its accredited procedures or where specifically required by SW under the Trade Effluent Sampling Plan, including the site-specific observations listed in the Trade Effluent Sampling Code of Practice.

  • All Trade Effluent samples taken by the Licensee during each Sampling Visit must be submitted for analysis to SW Scientific Services’ laboratory in bottles that are suitable for the analysis required.
