Total Funding Amount definition

Total Funding Amount means, with respect to any Participated Mortgage Loan and the related Mortgage Loan Transaction, the total amount to be paid by Seller in connection with such Mortgage Loan Transaction (including amounts to be provided on behalf of Seller by Bank through the making of an Advance for the purchase of a Participation Interest in such Participated Mortgage Loan), as set forth in the related Request.

Total Funding Amount means, with respect to a Mortgage Loan in which Bank elects to purchase a Participation Interest, the total amount to be funded by Seller and on behalf of Seller (including through an Advance) in connection with the closing of the Mortgage Loan as set forth in the related Request and settlement statement for the Mortgage Loan; provided, however, the respective portion of such amount to be funded by Bank through an Advance shall not exceed an amount equal to the Standard Participation Percentage multiplied by the outstanding principal amount of such Mortgage Loan at the time of its closing with the Escrow Agent unless Bank elects, in its sole and absolute discretion, to make an Advance in excess of such amount.
