Total and Permanent Disablement definition

Total and Permanent Disablement means physical or mental incapacity to an extent that the Board considers that a Member is, and until turning 60 will remain, unable to perform the duties of any job (in either the public sector or the private sector) for which the Board considers the Member —

Total and Permanent Disablement means the disablement of the insured person which meets the definitions in any of Parts 1, 2 or 3:

Total and Permanent Disablement means disablement of a degree which, in the opinion of the board after obtaining the advice of not fewer than 2 medical practitioners, is such as to render the member unlikely ever to be able to work again in a job for which the member is reasonably qualified by education, training or experience.

Total and Permanent Disablement means either:

Total and Permanent Disablement means, in relation to an Eligible Person, that the Eligible Person has, in the opinion of the Board and with effect on a date determined by the Board, after considering such medical and other evidence as it sees fit, become incapacitated to such an extent as to render the Eligible Person unlikely ever to engage in any occupation for which he is reasonably qualified by education, training or experience;
