Toll Calls definition

Toll Calls means intra local access and transport area (“LATA”) or interLATA calls that originate and terminate outside of the Local Calling Area as defined in the Qwest tariff. For all Toll Traffic originated by or terminated to CLEC’s QLSP End User Customer, Qwest may xxxx applicable tariff charges, including SS7 message charges [ISDN User Part (ISUP) and Transaction Capabilities Application Part (TCAP)], to the Interexchange Carrier (IXC) or other wholesale SS7 provider.
Toll Calls. The following rate elements are applicable to intraLATA toll calls, based on the rates in Attachment 8.

Examples of Toll Calls in a sentence

  • Qwest retains its rights to charge IXCs for signaling usage (ISUP Signal Formulation, ISUP Signal Transport, and ISUP Signal Switching, as well as LIDB, ICNAM and 8XX) associated with interLATA and intraLATA Toll Calls originated by or terminated to a QLSP End User under the applicable Tariff.

  • For QLSP End User Customer(s), Qwest will not charge to or collect from the IXC usage based end office and loop Switched Access charges (such as Switched Access Local Switching, End Office Shared Port, Tandem Transmission and Carrier Common Line) for InterLATA or IntraLATA Toll Calls originating or terminating from that QLSP End User Customer’s line to an IXC.

  • CenturyLink retains its rights to charge IXCs for signaling usage (ISUP Signal Formulation, ISUP Signal Transport, and ISUP Signal Switching, as well as LIDB, ICNAM and 8XX) associated with interLATA and intraLATA Toll Calls originated by or terminated to a CLSP End User under the applicable Tariff.

  • For CLSP End User Customer(s), CenturyLink will not charge to or collect from the IXC usage based end office and loop Switched Access charges (such as Switched Access Local Switching, End Office Shared Port, Tandem Transmission and Carrier Common Line) for InterLATA or IntraLATA Toll Calls originating or terminating from that CLSP End User Customer’s line to an IXC.

  • CenturyLink retains its rights to charge IXCs for signaling usage (ISUP Signal Formulation, ISUP Signal Transport, and ISUP Signal Switching, as well as LIDB, ICNAM and 8XX) associated with interLATA and intraLATA Toll Calls originated by or terminated to a WLV End User under the applicable Tariff.

  • Originating Toll Calls from, and terminating Toll Calls to, WLV End Users will be delivered to/from the designated IXCs from the CenturyLink end-office switches and access tandems.

  • For QLSP End User Customer(s), Qwest will not charge to or collect from the IXC usage based Switched Access charges (Switched Access Local Switching, Tandem Switching, Common Transport Multiplexing, End Office Shared Port, Tandem Transmission and Carrier Common Line) for InterLATA or IntraLATA Toll Calls originating or terminating from that QLSP End User Customer’s line to an IXCCLEC will be responsible for billing IXCs Switched Access charges in connection with QLSP Services3.7.2 Signaling.

  • LEC: Local Exchange Carrier Local Toll: Calls to destinations outside the Subscriber’s local calling area but within the LATA in which the call originates.

  • All non-Local Toll Calls and non-Local Voice Calls shall be rated as either intrastate, interstate, or international long distance.

  • Reimbursable expenses include: EXPENSE TYPE PAYMENT BASIS Postage Cost Telephone Toll Calls Cost Facsimile Transmissions Cost Freight Cost Photo Reproduction Cost Report Publication Cost Additional copies of drawings, specifications, or contract documents when authorized.

Related to Toll Calls

  • Off-Net Calls means any calls that are not (a) local calls, (b) 8xx outbound calls, or (c) On-Net Calls.

  • Outage has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

  • Custom Calling Features means a set of Telecommunications Service features available to residential and single-line business customers including call-waiting, call-forwarding and three-party calling.

  • Outages means the planned unavailability of transmission and/or generation facilities dispatched by PJM or the NYISO, as described in Section 35.9 of this Agreement.

  • On-Net Calls means calls between the Service and any of the following CenturyLink QCC Services: Hosted VoIP, SIP Trunk, Managed VoIP, Analog VoIP, Digital VoIP, or Integrated Access, and that are transmitted through the Service entirely over the CenturyLink QCC IP network and not the public switched telephone network (“PSTN”) or another carrier’s IP network.

  • Armed Forces service medal veteran means any veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985 (61 FR 1209).

  • Mobile crisis outreach team means a crisis intervention service for minors or families of minors experiencing behavioral health or psychiatric emergencies.

  • regular service means service rendered by an employee in the Cadre on a regular basis other than the service on contract or daily wages or ad-hoc but includes ad-hoc promotion or appointment in a cadre post through due procedure followed by regularization to the extant approved by the competent authority.

  • Toll Billing Exception Service (TBE means a service that allows End Users to restrict third number billing or collect calls to their lines.

  • Stewardship means the continuing obligation to provide the necessary maintenance, management, protection, husbandry and support for a natural area and natural values associated with that area.

  • Payment Initiation Service Provider or “PISP” means an authorised third party provider which provides a service that allows that third party to pass payment instructions to us on your behalf in relation to your Account.

  • regular services means services which provide for the carriage of passengers at specified intervals along specified routes, passengers being picked up and set down at predetermined stopping points;

  • China Connect Service means the order-routing service through which Northbound orders placed by an Exchange Participant may be transmitted by an SEHK Subsidiary to the corresponding China Connect Market for the buying and selling of China Connect Securities and any related supporting services.

  • CAISO Controlled Grid has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

  • Service Outage means an instance when the Customer is unable to route traffic to one or more Customer Sites via the Network, which results in Service Downtime;

  • Disenrollment means either voluntary or involuntary termination of a participant from the Independent Choices Program.

  • Graduates Unavailable for Employment means the graduates who, after graduation, die, become incarcerated, are called to active military duty, are international students that leave the United States or do not have a visa allowing employment in the United States, or are continuing their education in an accredited or bureau-approved postsecondary institution.

  • Service Call A visit to Your Residence by one of HomeServe’s approved local technicians, where work is performed to diagnose and complete a single repair, or where it is determined the repair is not covered.

  • Transportation Service means a service for moving people and goods, such as intercity bus service and passenger rail service.

  • Education service provider means an education management organization, school

  • Grievance System means the overall system that includes:

  • Internet Service Provider (ISP) means an Enhanced Service Provider (ESP) that provides Internet Services.

  • Post-paid calling service means the telecommunications service obtained by making a payment on a call-by-call basis either through the use of a credit card or payment mechanism such as a bank card, travel card, credit card, or debit card, or by charge made to a telephone number that is not associated with the origination or termination of the telecommunications service. A post-paid calling service includes a telecommunications service, except a prepaid wireless calling service, that would be a prepaid calling service except it is not exclusively a telecommunications service.

  • Service Window means the duration for which the facilities and services shall be available at the Data Centre. Service window in this case shall be 24x7x365.

  • Continuous parameter monitoring system (CPMS means all of the equipment necessary to meet the data acquisition and availability requirements of the Prevention of Significant Deterioration program, to monitor process and control device operational parameters (for example, control device secondary voltages and electric currents) and other information (for example, gas flow rate, O2 or CO2 concentrations), and to record average operational parameter value(s) on a continuous basis.

  • Generation Service means the sale of electricity, including ancillary services such as the provision of reserves, to a Customer by a Competitive Supplier.
