To Subcontractor(s). Protagonist may grant a sublicense of the rights granted by Takeda to Protagonist (A) under Sections 2.2(a) and 2.2(c), to a Subcontractor engaged in accordance with Section 4.8 to perform Protagonist’s responsibilities or exercise Protagonist’s rights, in each case, under the applicable Joint Global Development Plan, and (B) under Sections 2.2(b) and 2.2(d), to a Subcontractor engaged in accordance with Section 7.9 to perform Protagonist’s responsibilities or exercise Protagonist’s rights, in each case, under the applicable Joint Commercialization Plan.
