Tier 1 Capital definition

Tier 1 Capital means Tier 1 capital for the purposes of the Capital Regulations.
Tier 1 Capital means Additional Tier 1 Capital or any item that qualifies as common equity tier 1 capital pursuant to National Regulations.
Tier 1 Capital means capital qualifying as, and approved by the Regulator as, tier 1 capital in accordance with the Capital Regulations;

  • In the event of the bankruptcy, winding up or liquidation of the Issuer, the claims of Holders of Perpetual Subordinated Capital Securities will rank at least pari passu with all other of the Issuer’s obligations that constitute, or would but for any applicable limitations on the amount of such capital constitute, Tier 1 Capital and in priority to the claims of holders of all classes of the Issuer’s share capital.


More Definitions of Tier 1 Capital

Tier 1 Capital means capital which is treated as a constituent of Tier 1 under the CRD/CRR requirements by the Relevant Regulator for the purposes of the Issuer and/or the Group, as applicable.
Tier 1 Capital means at any time tier 1 capital as interpreted and applied in accordance with the Applicable Banking Regulations;
Tier 1 Capital means Additional Tier 1 Capital together with Common Equity Tier 1 Capital;
Tier 1 Capital means Tier 1 capital as defined by the capital maintenance regulations of the primary federal bank regulatory agency of the relevant Bank Subsidiary.
Tier 1 Capital means at any time, with respect to the Bank or the Group, as the case may be the Tier 1 capital of the Bank or the Group, respectively, as calculated by the Bank in accordance with Chapters 1, 2 and 3 (Tier 1 capital, Common Equity Tier 1 capital and Additional Tier 1 capital) of Title I (Elements of own funds) of Part Two (Own Funds) of the CRR and/or Applicable Banking Regulations at such time, including any applicable transitional, phasing in or similar provisions;
Tier 1 Capital means tier 1 capital (kernekapital) as defined in section 5(7)(4), of the Financial Business Act.
Tier 1 Capital means capital which is treated as a constituent of Tier 1 under CRD IV requirements by the Relevant Regulator for the purposes of the Issuer and/or the Group and this shall include all hybrid core capital (“Hybrid Core Capital”) (in Danish: “hybrid kernekapital”) issued by the Issuer within the meaning of the Danish Financial Business Act;
