The Employment Period definition

The Employment Period means the period commencing on the date hereof and ending on the third anniversary of the date hereof; provided, however, that commencing on the date one year after the date hereof, and on each annual anniversary of such date (such date and each annual anniversary thereof shall be hereinafter referred to as the "Renewal Date"), unless previously terminated, the "Employment Period" shall be automatically extended so as to terminate three year(s) after such Renewal Date, unless at least sixty (60) days prior to the Renewal Date the Company shall give notice to the Employee that the "Employment Period" shall not be so extended.
The Employment Period shall commence on January 1, 2002 (the "Effective Date"), and shall end on the day preceding the third anniversary of the Effective Date. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Employee's employment hereunder may be terminated during the Employment Period upon the earliest to occur of the following events:
The Employment Period shall continue as described in Section 1 unless earlier terminated by reason of (a) Executive's discharge for Cause pursuant to Section 5.1, (b) Executive's discharge without Cause pursuant to Section 5.4, (c) Executive's death or Disability pursuant to Section 5.3, (d) termination of this Agreement by Executive pursuant to Section 5.2, or (e) termination of this Agreement by Executive pursuant to Section 5.5. In all events, the post employment provisions of Section 7 shall survive termination of the Employment Period for the periods provided therein.

Examples of The Employment Period in a sentence

  • The Employment Period shall terminate upon the Executive’s termination of employment for any reason.

  • The Employment Period may be sooner terminated by either party in accordance with Section 6 of this Agreement.

  • The Employment Period shall terminate upon the Executive's termination of employment for any reason.

  • The Employment Period shall be terminated by the death of the Executive.

  • The Employment Period shall be terminated by the death of Executive.

  • The Employment Period shall terminate as of the date of such termination of employment.

  • The Employment Period shall end on the date of Executive's death.

  • The Employment Period shall terminate upon Executive’s termination of employment for any reason.

  • The Employment Period shall, without further action by Executive or the Company, be extended by an additional one-year period on each anniversary of the Effective Date; provided, however, that either party may, by notice to the other, cause the Employment Period to cease to extend automatically.

  • The Employment Period shall be terminated by the death of the Employee.

Related to The Employment Period

  • Employment Period has the meaning set forth in Section 2.01.

  • Period of Employment shall include any extension thereof pursuant to the preceding sentence. Provision of notice that the Period of Employment shall not be extended or further extended, as the case may be, shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement and shall not constitute “Good Reason” for purposes of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Period of Employment is subject to earlier termination as provided below in this Agreement.

  • Employment Term has the meaning specified in Section 2.

  • Post-Employment Period is defined in Section 8.2.

  • Employment Termination Date means, with respect to a Participant, the first day upon which the Participant no longer has an employment or service relationship with the Company or any Related Company.

  • Term of Employment means the period specified in Section 2 below.

  • Employment Termination means the effective date of: (i) Executive’s voluntary termination of employment with the Company with Good Reason, or (ii) the termination of Executive’s employment by the Company without Good Cause.

  • Employment Date means the first date as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service, provided that, in the case of a Break in Service, the Employment Date shall be the first date thereafter as of which an Employee is credited with an Hour of Service.

  • Year of Employment means a period of service of 12 months.

  • Date of Employment means the first day an Employee performs an Hour of Service.

  • Consulting Period has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 14(f) hereof.

  • Severance Term means the twenty-four (24) month period following Executive’s termination by the Company without Cause (other than by reason of death or Disability) or by Executive for Good Reason.

  • Severance Period means the period of time commencing on the date of the first occurrence of a Change in Control and continuing until the earlier of (i) the second anniversary of the occurrence of the Change in Control and (ii) the Executive’s death.

  • Employment means any occupation, vocation or employment, or any form of vocational or educational training. Provided, however, that "employment" shall not, for the purposes of this article, include membership in any law enforcement agency.

  • the Executive means the Health and Safety Executive;

  • Employment Year means each twelve-month period, or part thereof, during which Employee is employed hereunder, commencing on the Commencement Date and on the same day of the subsequent calendar year and each consecutive 12 month period thereafter.

  • Employment Commencement Date means the date on which the Employee first performs an Hour of Service.

  • Date of Termination means the date of receipt of the Notice of Termination or any later date specified therein, as the case may be; provided, however, that (i) if the Executive's employment is terminated by the Company other than for Cause or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date on which the Company notifies the Executive of such termination and (ii) if the Executive's employment is terminated by reason of death or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date of death of the Executive or the Disability Effective Date, as the case may be.

  • Supported employment means the ongoing supports to participants who, because of their disabilities, need intensive ongoing support to obtain and maintain an individual job in competitive or customized employment, or self-employment, in an integrated work setting in the general workforce at or above the state’s minimum wage or at or above the customary wage and level of benefits paid by the employer for the same or similar work performed by individuals without disabilities. The outcome of this service is sustained paid employment at or above the minimum wage in an integrated setting in the general workforce in a job that meets personal and career goals. Supported employment services can be provided through many different service models.

  • Scope of employment means performance by an employee acting in good faith within the duties of the employee’s office or employment or of tasks lawfully assigned by a competent authority including the operation or use of an agency vehicle or equipment with actual or implied consent of the supervisor of the employee, but shall not include corruption or fraud;

  • Agreement Termination Date is defined in Section 7.4.

  • Post-Termination Period means a period of 12 months (subject to extension as set forth in Section 8(f)) following the effective date of the termination of Executive’s employment.
