During the initial Term Interest Rate Period, the Bonds shall not be subject to mandatory sinking fund redemption or optional redemption except as provided in Section 4.01(5) or (6) below.
If, at least twenty (20) calendar days prior to the last day of any Term Interest Rate Period, the Borrower shall not have elected that the Bonds bear interest at a Variable Interest Rate, an Index Interest Rate, a SIFMA Interest Rate or a Term Interest Rate during the next succeeding Interest Rate Period, the next succeeding Interest Rate Period shall be a Term Interest Rate Period of the same duration as the Term Interest Rate Period currently in effect, or, if less, until the Principal Payment Date.
Notwithstanding the optional redemption schedule set forth above, on or prior to the effective date of any Term Interest Rate Period, the Borrower can provide an alternate optional redemption schedule if it obtains an Approving Opinion addressed to the Authority and the Trustee.
During each Term Interest Rate Period, the Bonds shall bear interest at the Term Interest Rate, which shall be determined by the Remarketing Agent not later than 4:00 p.m. (New York City time) on the Business Day preceding the first day of such Term Interest Rate Period.
The initial Interest Rate Period for the Bonds shall be the Term Interest Rate Period.
