Temporary Part -Time definition

Temporary Part -Time or “TPT” is defined as those employees who enter into positions deemed to be “Temporary Part-time” by the Company.
Temporary Part -Time means an employment class at the University conferring upon its nursing incumbents within the Student Health Services Department the normally scheduled hours of work as defined by Article but subject to the being hired on a temporary basis to replace a nurse who is on any approved leave of absence of up to twelve (12) months or to fill a position created for a special project for not more than twelve (12) months.

Examples of Temporary Part -Time in a sentence

  • Temporary Part Time: A temporary short term part time employee shall be any employee who is expected to work less than thirty (30) hours each week in a position that is expected to last for a specific period of time or until a specific project is completed, but no longer than 12 months.

  • Temporary Part Time (TPT) shall mean any employee who works for less than thirty- five (35) hours per week for a definite term of up to twelve (12) months.

  • This will include any current or recalled employees, preferential hire employees or Temporary Part Time (TPT) employees, assigned to this new classification.

  • Employees paid 100% through grant funds and not subject to a collective bargaining agreement are employed in one of the following employment statuses:• Temporary Full Time – Provided with College-authorized benefits• Temporary Part Time – Not provided with College-authorized benefits 5.

  • Employees hired full-time on or after the ratification of this new agreement, including any preferential hire or Temporary Part Time (TPT) employees, would be assigned to this new classification.

  • All other provisions of the Collective Agreement that apply to Temporary Part Time employees will apply to Student Employees.

  • Temporary Part Time (TPT) 61.25% of Full Base Rate For team members hired during 2010, wage rates and wage progression shall be in accordance with Appendix G.

  • Job descriptions will be established for all Full Time Regular, Full Time Temporary, Part Time Regular and Casual positions within sixty (60) days after the date of ratification of the Collective Agreement.

  • Cargoes are not properly secured, e.g. many containers are not secured correctly in accordance with the ship’s cargo securing manual.

  • The E-Privacy Directive is implemented in domestic law by the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003/2426.40.

  • Temporary job site means any location where industrial radiography, wireline service, well-logging, portable gauge or x-ray fluorescence use is performed and where licensed material may be stored other than those locations of use authorized on the license.

  • Temporary post means a post other than a permanent post.

  • Temporary worker means a person who is furnished to you to substitute for a permanent "employee" on leave or to meet seasonal or short-term workload conditions.

  • Temporary Position means a position that the Employer has determined will be in excess of thirty (30) calendar days and not more than two (2) years, but which is not a Regular Position. Temporary Positions are intended for staffing of short term projects and interim staffing relief during periods such as the absences of employees or for unexpected and temporary changes in workload. A Temporary Position may be either a new position for the designated period or a temporary vacancy of a Regular Position or of a previously vacated Temporary Position.

  • Temporary domicile means the principal place of abode within Utah of a person who does not have a present intention to continue residency within Utah permanently or indefinitely.

  • Temporary use means a use or structure on improved or unimproved real estate which is of impermanent nature, and is used for less than ninety days in a calendar year.

  • Temporary Works means all temporary works of every kind required in or about the execution, completion or maintenance of works.

  • Temporary suspension means the removal of a student from school for a specified period of 10 school days or less after a rudimentary hearing.

  • Temporary service means an electrical service granted temporarily for such purposes as construction, real estate sales, trailers, et cetera;

  • Temporary Work means all temporary works of every kind required in or about the execution, completion and maintenance of the works.

  • Temporary custody means legal custody of a child who is removed from the child's home, which custody may be terminated at any time at the discretion of the court or, if the legal custody is granted in an agreement for temporary custody, by the person who executed the agreement.

  • Temporary housing means any tent, trailer, motor home, or other structure used for human shelter which is designed to be transportable and which is not attached to the ground, to another structure, or to any utilities system on the same premises for more than thirty (30) days.

  • Temporary means employment of an intermittent nature; for a limited, specified period; and undertaken during unpaid Maternity Leave or extended unpaid Maternity Leave.

  • Temporary Employee is one who is hired on a temporary basis for a full- time or part-time position:

  • Temporary Disconnection means an ICP is De-energised but there is no change to the status of the ICP in the Registry;

  • Temporary sign means a sign not permanently fixed and not intended to remain fixed in one position;

  • Temporary Employees means those employees hired to replace regular employees absent due to illness, accident, vacation, leave of absence, etc., or hired to perform work on projects or assignments of limited duration. The employment of temporary employees hired to perform work on projects or assignments of limited duration shall be limited to a period of ninety (90) days of work in any twelve (12) month period, commencing from the date of hire or commencement of employment in such period. The period of employment for temporary employees hired for all other purposes shall be limited to twelve (12) months. A project or assignment of limited duration shall not exceed eighteen (18) weeks’ duration in any twelve (12) month period. Any projects or assignments of limited duration in excess of that provided for herein will be posted.

  • Temporary Total Disablement means disablement which entirely prevents the Insured Person from attending to their business or occupation.

  • Temporary Closure means ceasing operation of all or part of a facility with the intent of reusing the facility or portion of the facility at a future date.

  • Temporary permit means a permit issued to a person who has applied for a regular license, and who appears from verifiable information in the application to the executive director to be qualified and eligible therefor;

  • Temporary disability means wage loss replacement for the primary job;

  • Temporary Work Agency means as defined in Regulation 4 of the AWR being a person engaged in the economic activity, public or private, whether or not operating for profit, and whether or not carrying on such activity in conjunction with others, of:

  • temporary sales office means a building, structure, facility or trailer on the lotused for the purpose of the sale of dwelling units to be erected on the lot.
