Temporary Investments definition

Temporary Investments shall have the meaning set forth in the Partnership Agreement.
Temporary Investments. (i) Cash, (ii) bank deposits, (iii) United States Department of the Treasury securities with maturities of not more than ninety (90) calendar days, (iv) money market mutual funds that (a) are registered with the SEC and regulated under Rule 2a-7 promulgated under the 1940 Act and (b) invest exclusively in direct obligations of the United States of America or obligations the prompt payment of the principal of and interest on which is unconditionally guaranteed by the United States of America and (v) any other investment approved by UST in writing as a Temporary Investment.
Temporary Investments means, at any date, all amounts that would, in conformity with Mexican GAAP consistently applied, be set forth opposite the caption “cash and cash equivalent” (“efectivo y equivalentes de efectivo”) or “temporary investments” (“inversiones temporales”) on a consolidated balance sheet of the Borrower at such date.

More Definitions of Temporary Investments

Temporary Investments. Direct short-term U.S. government obligations, as specified from time to time by the Trustees or through standing instructions from the Trustees to the Administrator or the Paying Agent.
Temporary Investments means low risk investments, which are expected to be converted into cash within one year and can be relatively quickly liquidated and comprise Sharia-compliant Murabaha transactions including, but not limited to deposits, Sukuk and money market funds’ accounts;
Temporary Investments means investments by the Fund in: (a) securities that are obligations of or guaranteed by the U.S. government or an instrumentality thereof; (b) domestic, corporate or governmental indebtedness rated Aa or Prime-1 (or the equivalent thereof) or better by Xxxxx’x Investors Service Inc. or A-I (or its equivalent) or better by Standard & Poor’s Corporation; (c) certificates of deposit, money market accounts, savings accounts, checking accounts or any combination thereof in banks which have total assets of $100,000,000 or more (or in banks insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (the “FDIC”) which have total assets of less than $100,000,000 if the amount of the Fund’s funds deposited in such bank is fully insured by the FDIC); or (d) any other securities that the Manager determines are appropriate for short term investments.
Temporary Investments means any of the following: (a) cash; (b) debt securities issued or directly or indirectly fully guaranteed or insured by the United States or any agency or instrumentality thereof and having a maturity of one year or less; and (c) demand deposits of any commercial bank having capital and surplus in excess of $10 billion on the date of acquisition thereof and rated A or better.
Temporary Investments. Means investments in any of the following: (a) cash or cash equivalents; (b) short-term debt securities issued or guaranteed by the United States government, its agencies and instrumentalities; (c) negotiable or non-negotiable certificates of deposit or short-term deposits with banks eligible in whole or in part for insurance provided by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or a comparable insurer; (d) commercial paper or other obligations maturing within seven days issued by financial institutions or any other issuer which, at the time of purchase, have been assigned one of the two highest investment grade ratings by a nationally recognized statistical rating organization; and

Temporary Investments means (a) United States government and agency obligations maturing within three years, (b) commercial paper rated not lower than A 1 by Standard & Poor’s Corporation or P 1 by Xxxxx’x Investor Services, Inc. with maturities of not more than nine (9) months, (c) interest bearing deposits in banks having one of the ratings referred to above, maturing within one year, (d) municipal bonds and other tax-exempt securities rated not lower than AA by Standard & Poor’s Corporation or Aa by Xxxxx’x Investor Services, Inc. with maturities of not more than one year and (e) money market mutual funds the assets of which are reasonably believed by the General Partner to consist primarily of items described in one or more of the foregoing clauses (a), (b), (c) or (d), or (f) any other investments as the General Partner may determine.
