Telephone Usage definition

Telephone Usage. Library telephones are for Library business. Personal phone calls, outgoing and incoming, are not prohibited, but should be held to a minimum so as not to interfere with Library work. Personal toll calls must be paid for. Parking: Parking space is provided. Book Purchasing: Staff members have the privilege of purchasing books at a discount if the titles are available through the Library’s regular book suppliers. Loan of Library Materials: Staff members are excused from fines for overdue material. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ to other borrowers dictates that this policy not be abused. The decision to close the Library will be made by the Library Director taking into account the safety and health of the staff with notice to the Board President or Township Flex Time: Within a two-week period, staff members may adjust their hours, with the approval of the Assistant Director, in one half hour segments. Such time may not be accumulated but is intended to allow flexibility in staff schedules as long as the Library is not inconvenienced. Any permanent change in hours must be approved by the Director.
