Telecommunications Traffic definition

Telecommunications Traffic is traffic that is originated and terminated between a LEC and a CMRS provider within the same Major Trading Area (MTA).

Telecommunications Traffic means the transmission, between or among points specified by the user, of information of the user's choosing, without change in the form or content of the information as sent and received. 47 U.S.C. §153(43).

Telecommunications Traffic consistent with 47CFR 51.701(b)(2), means two-way telecommunications between end users of RGTC and USCC that at the beginning of the call originates and terminates within the same MTA. A Party that originates Telecommunications Traffic has the right under this Agreement to terminate the traffic on the other Party’s network as Telecommunications Traffic.

Examples of Telecommunications Traffic in a sentence

• Transit Traffic Service is provided to Telecommunications Carriers for Telecommunications Traffic that does not originate with, or terminate to, AT&T-TSP’s End Users.

• When the actual usage data for three (3) consecutive months indicates that the Subject Telecommunications Traffic exchanged, both directly and indirectly, falls within the Traffic Balance Threshold, then either Party may provide the other Party a written request, along with verifiable information supporting such request, to eliminate billing for Reciprocal Compensation per minute.

• Parties agree that traffic recorded as Telecommunications Traffic, may originate or terminate in another MTA, and would be subject to Switched Access Compensation.

• Parties agree that certain traffic rated and recorded as Subject Telecommunications Traffic, may originate or terminate in another MTA, and therefore is Non-Subject Telecommunications Traffic and subject to Switched Access Compensation.

More Definitions of Telecommunications Traffic

Telecommunications Traffic consistent with 47CFR 51.701(b)(2), means two-way telecommunications between end users of WWTC and ALLTEL that at the beginning of the call originates and terminates within the same MTA. A party that originates Telecommunications Traffic has the right under this Agreement to terminate the traffic on the other Party’s network as Subject Traffic.

Telecommunications Traffic means traffic exchanged between the Parties, except for traffic that is interstate or intrastate exchange access, Commercial Mobile Radio Service, information access or exchange services for such access. INTERCONNECTION ATTACHMENT INTERCONNECTION

Telecommunications Traffic is defined for the purposes of CMRS-LEC interconnection under this Agreement and for the purpose of compensation under this Agreement as traffic which, at the beginning of the call, is originated by an end user of one Party and terminates to an end user of the other Party within the same Major Trading Area (“MTA”) provided that the end user of CINGULAR is a two- way CMRS customer. The term Telecommunications Traffic is applied pursuant to this Agreement solely for the purpose of defining the scope of traffic delivered by one Party to the other Party that is subject to specific CMRS-LEC interconnection compensation terms. The use of the term Telecommunications Traffic for purposes of specific CMRS-LEC interconnection arrangements has no effect on the definition of local traffic or the geographic area associated with local calling under either Party’s respective end user service offerings.

Telecommunications Traffic is defined for the purposes of CMRS-LEC interconnection under this Agreement and for the purpose of compensation under this Agreement as traffic which is originated by an end user of one Party and terminates to an end user of the other Party within the same Major Trading Area (“MTA”) or as otherwise defined by 47 C.F.R. 51.701(b)(2).

Telecommunications Traffic means signs, signals, writing, images, sounds or intelligence of any nature capable of being received and retransmitted by the Satellite.

Telecommunications Traffic is defined for the purposes of CMRS-LEC interconnection under this Agreement and for the purpose of compensation under this Agreement as traffic which is originated by an end user of one Party and terminates to an end user of the other Party within the same Major Trading Area (“MTA”), provided that the end user of ACC OF KENTUCKY is a two-way CMRS customer and the traffic is delivered by either Party over the connecting facilities covered by this Agreement. The term Telecommunications Traffic is applied pursuant to this Agreement solely for the purpose of defining the scope of traffic delivered by one Party to the other Party that is subject to specific CMRS-LEC interconnection compensation terms. The use of the term Telecommunications Traffic for purposes of specific CMRS-LEC interconnection arrangements has no effect on the definition of local traffic or the geographic area associated with local calling under either Party’s respective end user service offerings.
