Telecommunications operators definition

Telecommunications operators means public or private bodies, and the subsidiaries they control, which have been granted a licence for the provision of a public telecommunications network and/or telecommunications service;
Telecommunications operators means any person who holds a valid license or permit to provide a telecommunications service under the telecom law or is registered under the law as aforesaid.

  • Prepaid wireless telecommunications service means a wireless communications service that provides the right to utilize mobile wireless service as well as other nontelecommunications services, including the download of digital products delivered electronically, content and ancillary services, which must be paid for in advance, and that is sold in predetermined units or dollars of which the amount declines with use in a known amount.
