Teaching Day definition

Teaching Day means any duty day on which teaching is timetabled or on which distance learning teaching duties are undertaken.
Teaching Day when used in this Agreement shall commence at the time the teacher is required to be at his or her place of employment and end when said teacher is permitted to leave his or her place of employment, including one half hour for lunch.
Teaching Day means a day falling during a standard teaching week in Semester 1 or Semester 2 of the University’s Academic Calendar that is not a Saturday, Sunday or University holiday;

More Definitions of Teaching Day

Teaching Day means a day as defined above which is officially designated by the SoM as a day when classes are scheduled. The following are specifically excluded from the definition:
Teaching Day means every Monday through Friday for all faculty, and additionally, the time on any Saturday or any Sunday when a faculty member is actually scheduled to teach on those days,(3) other than any Sunday through Saturday that falls on a University holiday or on which the faculty member takes a vacation day.(4)

Teaching Day as used in this Agreement means the amount of instructional time for the regular classroom teacher as provided in Section 6.14 of this Agreement. "Workday" or "Regular Workday" as used in this Agreement means the "Teaching Day" plus other responsibilities or assignments as per Section 6.4 of this Agreement.
Teaching Day means that period of time in a single day for which the Occasional Teacher has been called to work whether it be part or full time.
