Tax Election Package definition

Tax Election Package means two copies of CRA form T-2057, or, if the IRC Shareholder is a partnership, two copies of CRA form T-2058 and two copies of any applicable equivalent provincial or territorial election form, which forms have been duly and properly completed and executed by the IRC Shareholder in accordance with the rules contained in the ITA or the relevant provincial legislation.
Tax Election Package means two copies of CRA form T2057, or, if the Meta Shareholder is a partnership, two copies of CRA form T2058 and two copies of any applicable equivalent provincial or territorial election form, which forms have been duly and properly completed and executed by the Meta Shareholder in accordance with the rules contained in the ITA or the relevant provincial legislation.
Tax Election Package means two copies of CRA form T-2057 (or, if the Eligible Canadian Shareholder is a partnership, two copies of CRA form T-2058) and two copies of any applicable equivalent provincial or territorial election form, which forms have been duly and properly completed in accordance with the rules contained in the Tax Act or the relevant provincial legislation and executed by an Eligible Canadian Shareholder.

  • Thereafter, subject to the Tax Election Package being correct and complete and complying with the provisions of the ITA (or applicable provincial income or corporate tax Law), the relevant forms will be signed by Canco and returned to such persons within 90 days after the receipt thereof by the Depositary for filing with the CRA (or the applicable provincial taxing Agency).

  • If you would like to receive a Canadian Federal Tax Election Package or a combined Federal and Quebec Tax Election Package you must check the appropriate box in Block C, on page 2 of this form.

Tax Election Package means a package consisting of: (a) two copies of Federal Election Form T-2057 or, if the holder of the Exchangeable Shares is a partnership as indicated on the Letter of Election and Transmittal Form or Letter of Election Form, two copies of Federal Election Form T-2058; (b) if the holder of the Exchangeable Shares is required to file income tax returns in Québec as indicated on the Letter of Election and Transmittal Form or Letter of Election Form, then two copies of the Québec Tax Election Form TP-518V or any replacement form released by the Québec tax authority or, if the holder of the Exchangeable Shares is required to file in Québec and is a partnership as indicated on the Letter of Election and Transmittal Form or Letter of Election Form, then three copies of Québec Tax Election Form TP-529V or any replacement form released by the Québec tax authority; and (c) a tax election filing authorization letter (two copies if the holder is required to file in Québec as indicated on the Letter of Election and Transmittal Form or Letter of Election Form);
Tax Election Package means the package of documents described under the heading “Procedure for Tax Election”.

Tax Election Package means two copies of Canada Revenue Agency form T-2057, or, if the Eligible Holder is a partnership, two copies of Canada Revenue Agency form T-2058 and two copies of any applicable equivalent provincial or territorial election form, which forms have been duly and properly completed and executed by the Eligible Holder in accordance with the rules contained in the Canadian or the relevant provincial or territorial legislation.
Tax Election Package means (i) in respect of the disposition of NMCCL Exchangeable Shares for Class B Shares, two copies of Form T-2057 under the Tax Act, or, if the NMCCL Shareholder is a partnership, two copies of Form T-2058 under the Tax Act, and two copies of any applicable equivalent provincial or territorial election form, and (ii) in respect of the disposition of Class B Shares for New Exchangeable Shares (and the Ancillary Rights granted in connection therewith), two copies of Form T-2057 under the Tax Act, or if the NMCCL Shareholder is a partnership, two copies of T-2058 under the Tax Act, and two copies of any applicable provincial or territorial election form, in each case which forms have been duly and properly completed and executed by the NMCCL Shareholder, in accordance with the rules contained in the Tax Act or the relevant provincial legislation.
Tax Election Package means two copies of CCRA form T-2057, or, if the Franco-Nevada Shareholder or Holdco Shareholder (as the case may be) is a partnership, two copies of CCRA form T-2058 and two copies of any applicable equivalent provincial or territorial election form, which forms have been duly and properly completed and executed by the Franco-Nevada Shareholder or Holdco Shareholder, as the case may be, in accordance with the rules contained in the ITA or the relevant provincial legislation. At the option of the Franco-Nevada Shareholder or Holdco Shareholder, as the case may be, the Tax Election Package may also contain two copies of an election pursuant to section 57.9 of the CORPORATIONS TAX ACT (Ontario) or analagous provincial or territorial legislation.
