Systems Software definition

Systems Software means software designed to support, guide, control, direct, or monitor information technology equipment, other system software, mechanical and physical components, arrangements, procedures, programs, services or routines.
Systems Software means those programs and programming (including the supporting documentation, media, on-line help facilities and tutorials), other than Applications Software, that perform tasks which are required to operate the Applications Software or otherwise support the provision of the Services. The Systems Software includes operating systems, systems utilities, data security software, telecommunications and database managers.
Systems Software means all Software that perform tasks basic to the functioning of the Equipment and are required to operate the Applications Software or otherwise support the provision of Services by Supplier, including operating systems, systems utilities, data security software, compilers, performance monitoring and testing tools and database managers.

  • The software required to operate and certify the IFE/CCS systems on the Aircraft is the Systems Software and is part of the IFE/CCS.

More Definitions of Systems Software

Systems Software means all software programs and programming (and all modifications, replacements, upgrades, enhancements, documentation, materials and media related thereto) that perform tasks basic to the functioning of the Equipment and are required to operate the Applications Software or otherwise support the provision of Services by IBM, including operating systems, systems utilities, data security software, network monitoring and database managers. Systems Software is set forth in Schedule B.
Systems Software means those programs and programming (including the supporting documentation, media, on-line help facilities and tutorials) that perform (i) tasks basic to the functioning of the Equipment and which are required to operate the Applications Software; or (ii) tasks, other than as performed by Applications Software, otherwise supporting the provision of the Services by Acxiom. Programs and programming supporting the Services that are not Applications Software shall be deemed to be Systems Software. Systems Software includes mainframe and mid-range operating systems, server operating systems, network operating systems, systems utilities (including measuring and monitoring tools), data security software, middleware, database management systems, development tools (other than development tools specific to a particular item of Applications Software which is provided by the licensor of such Applications Software) and telecommunications monitors.

Systems Software means those programs and programming (including all supporting documentation and media) that perform tasks related to the functioning of the data processing, and telecommunication equipment which is used to operate the Applications Software or otherwise to support the provision of the Services by IBM under the Agreement, whether or not licensed to IBM. Systems Software may include but is not limited to, database creation and management software, application development tools, operating systems, software utilities, data security software, data network software, communications monitors and data base managers. Systems Software as of the Commencement Date is listed in Schedule B to each Transaction Document for such Transaction Document, which schedule shall be updated pursuant to Section 8.1 during the Term to reflect the then current Systems Software.
Systems Software means the Software that performs tasks basic to the functioning of Customer’s Equipment and which is required to operate the Applications Software or otherwise support the provision of Services by Service Provider, and which is set forth on Schedule C as it may be updated from time to time upon the mutual agreement of the parties.
Systems Software means all software identified on Schedule 1.1(d) hereto.
Systems Software means software not specific to the Photomask Business and not specific to an individual personal computer.
