Swiss Data Protection Act definition

Swiss Data Protection Act means the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection of 19 June 1992 (SR 235.1) and Ordinances SR 235.11 and SR 235.13, as amended and following the coming into force of its revised version of 25 September 2020 on 1 January 2023 (or at the later date subject to the legislative procedure), subject to such revised version, as amended, replaced, or superseded from time to time, insofar as these apply to the Processing of Personal Data.
Swiss Data Protection Act means the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act of June 1992, or the Revised Federal Data Protection Act when it comes into force (as applicable).

  • EU Data Protection Laws means EU Directive 95/46/EC, as transposed into domestic legislation of each Member State and as amended, replaced or superseded from time to time, including by the GDPR and laws implementing or supplementing the GDPR;

  • Applicable Data Protection Law means all data privacy or data protection laws or regulations globally that apply to the Processing of Personal Information under this Data Processing Agreement, which may include Applicable European Data Protection Law.

  • Data Protection Laws means any law, statute, subordinate legislation, regulation, order, mandatory guidance or code of practice, judgment of a relevant court of law, or directives or requirements of any regulatory body which relates to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Personal Data to which a Party is subject including the Data Protection Xxx 0000 and any statutory modification or re-enactment thereof and the GDPR.

  • Data Protection Law means the applicable legislation protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of persons and their right to privacy with regard to the processing of Personal Data under the Agreement (and includes, as far as it concerns the relationship between the parties regarding the processing of Personal Data by SAP on behalf of Customer, the GDPR as a minimum standard, irrespective of whether the Personal Data is subject to GDPR or not).

  • Applicable Data Protection Laws means all national, international and local laws, regulations and rules by any government, agency or authority relating to data protection and privacy which are applicable to CPA Global or the Customer, including but not limited to The General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), (GDPR);

  • UK Data Protection Legislation means all applicable data protection and privacy legislation in force from time to time in the UK including the UK GDPR; the Data Protection Act 2018; the Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive 2002/58/EC (as updated by Directive 2009/136/EC) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (SI 2003/2426) as amended.

  • the applicable data protection law means the legislation protecting the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals and, in particular, their right to privacy with respect to the processing of personal data applicable to a data controller in the Member State in which the data exporter is established;

  • General Data Protection Regulation GDPR" means regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European parliament and of the council as amended from time to time.

  • Data Protection means the implementation of appropriate administrative, technical or physical means to guard against unauthorized intentional or accidental disclosure, modification, or destruction of data.

  • Data Protection Legislation means the Data Protection Act 1998 and all applicable laws and regulations relating to processing of personal data and privacy, including where applicable the guidance and codes of practice issued by the Information Commissioner or relevant Government department in relation to such legislation;

  • IT Act means the (Indian) Income-tax Act, 1961, as may be amended or supplemented from time to time together (including any successor provisions or re- enactments thereof) with all applicable bye-laws, rules, regulations, circulars, guidelines, notifications, orders, ordinances, policies, directions and the like issued thereunder, as may be amended or modified from time to time.
