Supported Employment Placement definition

Supported Employment Placement means the process employment of placing an individuals with a developmental disabilityies in an individual placement who are authorized for individual placement services with by an employer in the community, directly or through contract with a supported employment program. This includes provision of ongoing support services necessary for the individual to retain employment.

Supported Employment Placement means the provision of Supported Employment Services in an integrated community-based employment setting. This includes when a Participant is self-employed.

  • Supervisory employee means an employee, regardless of job description, having authority in the interest of the employer to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline other employees, or the responsibility to assign work to and direct them, or to adjust their grievances, or effectively recommend that action, if, in connection with the foregoing functions, the exercise of that authority is not of a merely routine or clerical nature, but requires the use of independent judgment.
