Supervisory Council definition

Supervisory Council means a committee appointed under section 51(1).

  • Should any circumstances under which the Independent Supervisory Council Member ceases to meet the criteria for independence arise, the Independent Supervisory Council Member shall notify this to the Company immediately in writing.

  • Should the Independent Supervisory Council Member be unable to attend any meeting of the Supervisory Council, the Independent Supervisory Council Member shall vote in advance in writing or by means of telecommunications equipment according to the procedure laid down in the regulations of the Supervisory Council.

  • A joint committee consisting of four (4) teachers and four (4) members from the Board and/or Administrative and Supervisory Council shall be established to review all sabbatical leave requests.

  • In case, a Member of the Supervisory Council of the Company shall be under the legal duty to disclose any Confidential Information in violation of the terms of the present Agreement, the Member of the Supervisory Council of the Company shall no later than on the same day that he got informed of the said duty, notify the Company about it.

  • County Council means Greenville County Council, the governing body of the County.

  • Architectural Review Committee or “ARC” shall mean the architectural review committee established by the Organization to review plans submitted to the Organization for architectural review.

  • Council Directive means Council Directive 89/552/EEC of 3 October 1989 on the co-ordination of certain provisions laid down by law, regulation or administrative action in Member States concerning the pursuit of television broadcasting activities as amended by Directive 97/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 June 1997 and by Directive 2007/65/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2007. A simplified and codified version of these Directives was introduced in 2010: the Audiovisual Media Services Directive 2010/13/EU.

  • General Council means the General Council of the University;

  • National Council means the National Bargaining Council for the Clothing Manufacturing Industry, registered in terms of the Act;

  • Apprenticeship committee means those persons designated by the sponsor to act for it in the administration of the program. A committee may be “joint,” i.e., composed of an equal number of representatives of the employer(s) and of the employees represented by a bona fide collective bargaining agent(s), and is established to conduct, operate, or administer an apprenticeship program and enter into apprenticeship agreements with apprentices. A committee may be “unilateral” or “nonjoint” and shall mean a program sponsor in which a bona fide collective bargaining agent is not a participant.

  • State Council means the resident members of the State Council for Interstate Adult Offender Supervision created by each state under Article IV of this compact.
