Supervised release definition

Supervised release means a release of an offender from a prison term, a term of imprisonment, or another type of confinement that satisfies either of the following conditions:
Supervised release means the event of the release of a child under this chapter from an institution and the period after that release during which the child is supervised and assisted by an employee of the department of youth services under specific terms and conditions for reintegration of the child into the community.
Supervised release means the release of a juvenile, whose term of commitment has not expired, from a facility for the care and rehabilitation of adjudicated delinquent children, with specified conditions to protect public safety and promote successful transition and reintegration into the community. A juvenile on supervised release is subject to monitoring by the department until the term of commitment has expired, and may be returned to custody for violating conditions of release; and

Supervised release means the status of a person found by a court or a jury under s. 980.05 (5), Stats., to be a sexually vio- lent person and ordered by the court under s. 980.06, Stats., to be committed to the department for control, care and treatment but with the control, care and treatment provided in the community rather than in a secure mental health unit or facility.
Supervised release means any release from confinement which is conducted under supervision and exceeds three (3) days in duration. It shall include probation, parole, a work release program, furlough and any other type of release except for an unconditional discharge.
