Sunrise Period definition

Sunrise Period means the period during which Sunrise-Eligible Rights Holders have the opportunity to submit an Application for a domain name in the TLD.
Sunrise Period means the period designated by the Registry during which holders of SMD Files may submit Sunrise Application(s).
Sunrise Period means a registration period in the period during which registered trademark and service mark owners may register their marks as domain names in order to allow them to protect their intellectual property.

  • If Registry Operator determines to Allocate or register registrations in the TLD other than as permitted by Section 2.2.4 of the TMCH Requirements, Registry Operator shall consult with ICANN and the Parties shall coordinate on the commencement of a Sunrise Period for the TLD.

More Definitions of Sunrise Period

Sunrise Period means an exclusive period of time when owners of any current (i.e. non expired) trademark or service mark having national effect that was issued prior to October 2, 2000 will be eligible to register a domain name identical to the textural or word elements of such trademarks or service mark, subject to the same character and formatting restrictions as apply to all domain name registrations in the Registry.
Sunrise Period means an initial registration period (for clarity, the Sunrise Period may overlap with the Landrush Period).
Sunrise Period means the period during which Sunrise-Eligible Rights Holders have the opportunity to submit an Application for a domain name in the TLD prior to the Early Access Period and General Availability. Sunrise Phase II means the approximately thirty (30) day registration period following Sunrise Phase I, and preceding the Early Access Period for the .GAY TLD. During Sunrise Phase II, Sunrise-Eligible Rights Holders may apply for a .GAY domain name that is an Identical Match to their Validated Trademark Registration on a first- come, first-served basis. Sunrise Registration means a domain name allocated to a Sunrise-Eligible Rights Holder and applied for during the Sunrise Period.
Sunrise Period refers to that period specified by the Registry Operator, during which owners, of any current (non-expired) trademark or service xxxx having national effect that has been issued prior to October 2, 2000, will be eligible to register a domain name identical to the textural or word elements of such trademarks or service xxxx, using ASCII characters only, subject to the same character and formatting restrictions as apply to all domain name registrations in the Registry.
