Successful Applicants. The University will inform schools of successful applicants in November, along with information of exact event dates that the school’s cohort has been allocated. A copy of the Code of Conduct and medical consent form will also be sent to the school at this point for information. • Events: The University will be responsible for the administration, planning, organisation, delivery and evaluation of all Discover US activities & events. • Risk Assessments: Risk assessments are carried out for all activities and there will be an appropriate ratio of staff to pupils, but university staff would not be expected to discipline pupils attending events. It is the school’s responsibility to send us, at least two weeks in advance, any internal school documents (such as provider assurance forms) that are required to be completed by the University. • Event Information: A copy of the programme, risk assessment and travel information will be sent to schools prior to each event.
