Subcontractors definition

Subcontractors means subcontractors or subconsultants at any tier that are under the direct or indirect control or responsibility of the Contractor, and includes all independent contractors, agents, employees, authorized resellers, or anyone else for whom the Contractor may be liable at any tier, including a person or entity that is, or will be, providing or performing an essential aspect of this Contract, including Contractor’s manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.
Subcontractors means a person under contract with a contractor or another subcontractor to provide services or labor for design or construction, including a trade contractor or specialty contractor.
Subcontractors means subcontractors of any tier.

Examples of Subcontractors in a sentence

  • The information contained in the Supplementary General Conditions (Section 00800), Special Conditions (Section 00820), Instructions to Bidders (Section 00100), and the Bid Form (PUR-F523) shall become a part of the Contract and shall apply to all Contractors and Subcontractors.

More Definitions of Subcontractors

Subcontractors shall include both those who are retained to perform labor only and those who are retained both to perform labor and to supply material or equipment. “Subcontractors” shall also include design professionals who are not the Design-Builder’s employees and to whom the Design-Builder delegates any part of its responsibilities under the Agreement, except that references to “trade Subcontractors” shall exclude design professionals.
