Structured Product definition

Structured Product means tradable securities or other financial instruments offered by way of a securitisation within the meaning of Article 4(36) of Directive 2006/48/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council9 or by way of equivalent transactions involving the transfer of risks other than credit risk;

Structured Product means any investment product, including, without limitation, Structured Notes, structured financial instruments, whether or not such investment product is referenced to the price(s), or value(s) of any one or more securities, commodities, currencies or financial instruments, or any other product issued by the Bank, which you agree (in the case of Structured Products (other than Structured Notes)) to transact or invest with, or (in the case of Structured Notes) to subscribe for or purchase from the Bank, and which is designated by the Bank to be governed by these Terms and Conditions Governing Structured Products from time to time;

Examples of Structured Product in a sentence

• The Exchange requires all Structured Product issuers to appoint a liquidity provider for each individual issue.

• The Customer further agrees to forthwith pay the Bank, where applicable, any sum(s) in connection with a Structured Product as specified in or determined in accordance with the Confirmation and/or the Term Sheet which is or are due and payable by the Customer.

• Early Withdrawal Charges may be more than the returns earned on the Structured Product investment and may be deducted by the Bank from the Principal Amount or other amounts (if any) which are otherwise payable to the Customer in connection with that Structured Product.

• In the event of any change in such laws, regulations or guidelines, the Bank may be required to alter some or all of the terms and conditions of the Structured Product or forced to impose early termination on the Customer.

• The price of a Structured Product may not match its theoretical price due to outside influences such as market supply and demand factors.

More Definitions of Structured Product

Structured Product means a financial instrument that has the characteristics of a base instrument (such as a note, warrant or other instrument) with economic exposure to one or more reference asset(s), index (indices), portfolio(s), or combination thereof, but is not an ETF or CEF. Commentary: The Exchange is recognized to carry on business as an exchange for the listing and trading of securities. A product may be considered a security if:

Structured Product means any transaction in a financial instrument which has a material portion of its market risk made up of either or both of the following characteristics: (i) multiple commodity reference prices; and/or (ii) non-vanilla optionality.

Structured Product means any investment product, including, without limitation, structured financial instruments, whether or not such investment product is referenced to the price(s), or value(s) of any one or more securities, commodities, currencies or financial instruments, or any other product issued by the Bank, which you agree to transact or invest with the Bank and which is designated by the Bank to be governed by these Structured Products Terms and Conditions from time to time;

Structured Product means any investment product that falls within the definition of "securities” under the SCA arid which derives its value by reference to the price or value of an underlying reference;

Structured Product means any loan made by the Company to an entity holding a portfolio of financial assets for which the Company is not the owner, manager or sponsor or any security owned by the Company or any Subsidiary issued by a CLO, CDO or other special purpose vehicle which CLO, CDO or special purpose vehicle is not sponsored or managed by the Company.
