Storm Water Management System definition

Storm Water Management System means physical facilities that collect, store, convey, and treat storm water runoff in urban areas. These facilities normally include detention and retention facilities, streets, storm sewers, inlets, open channels, and special structures, such as inlets, manholes, and energy dissipaters.

Storm Water Management System. "Sewer System" or "System" means storm sewers that exist on the Effective Date or that are hereafter established, and all appurtenances necessary in maintaining and operating the same, including, but not limited to, pumping stations; enclosed storm sewers; outfall sewers; surface drains; street, curb and alley improvements associated with storm or surface water improvements; natural and manmade wetlands; channels; ditches; rivers; streams; wet and dry bottom basins; and other flood control facilities and works for the collection, transportation, conveyance, pumping, treatment, control, management, and disposal of storm or surface water or pollutants originating from or carried by storm or surface water.

Storm Water Management System or “System” means the existing storm water management of the City and all improvements thereto which by this chapter are constituted as the property and responsibility of the City, to be operated as a Special Revenue Fund to, among other things, conserve water, control discharges necessitated by rainfall events, incorporate methods to collect, convey, store, absorb, inhibit, treat, use or reuse water to prevent or reduce flooding, over-drainage, environmental degradation and water pollution or otherwise affect the quality and quantity of discharge from such system.

Storm Water Management System means the storm water collection system of the City, including, but not limited to storm sewers, ditches, detention ponds, retention ponds, natural and human-made or altered drainage channels, creeks, rivers, lakes and all improvements thereto, which by this section are con- stituted as the responsibility of the City, and all activi- ties undertaken to conserve water, control discharges necessitated by rainfall events, incorporate methods to collect, convey, store, absorb, inhibit, treat, use or re- use water to prevent or reduce flooding, over- drainage, environmental degradation, and water pol- lution or otherwise affect the quality or quantity of discharge from such system.

Storm Water Management System means the system which is designed, constructed, and implemented for the Project to control discharges which are necessitated by rainfall events, incorporating methods to collect, convey, store, absorb, inhibit, treat, use or reuse water to prevent or reduce flooding, over-drainage, environmental degradation and water pollution, or otherwise affect the quantity and quality of discharges from the system, as permitted or required pursuant to the applicable requirements of the applicable governmental authorities. Such system shall include any lake, pond, lagoon, retention or detention area, any drainage easements and storm water piping systems, drains, catch basins and other related apparatus and facilities intended to provide storm water management and control for the Project.

Storm Water Management System means any structure, feature or appurtenance subject to this Ordinance or a rule promulgated pursuant to this Ordinance that is designed to collect, detain, retain, treat, or convey storm water or storm water runoff, including without limitation buffer strips, swales, gutters, catch basins, closed conduits, detention systems, pretreatment systems, wetlands, pavement, unpaved surfaces, structures, watercourses, or surface waters.

Storm Water Management System is defined as the three ten-million-gallon storm water storage tanks (Tank Nos. 320, 330 and 340), the equalization tank (Tank No. 310), a portion of which can he used for additional storm water storage, the containment area and dikes surrounding these storm water storage tanks, the equipment located within the containment area used for the purpose of managing stonn water at the Lake Xxxxxxx Manufacturing Complex, and the lift stations that pump storm water and oily water into Tank Nos. 310, 320, 330 and 340.

Storm Water Management System means a system which is designed and constructed or implemented to control discharges which are necessitated by rainfall events, incorporating methods to collect, convey, store, absorb, inhibit, treat, use or reuse water to prevent or reduce flooding, overdrainage, environmental degradation, and water pollution or otherwise affect the quantity and quality of discharges from the system, as permitted pursuant to Chapter 62-330, F.A.C.

Storm Water Management System means all publicly or privately owned facilities by which storm water is collected and/or conveyed, including but not limited to any roads with drainage systems, municipal streets, gutters, curbs, inlets, piped storm drains, pumping facilities, retention and detention basins,natural and human-made or altered drainage channels, reservoirs, and other drainage structures.

Storm Water Management System means any system designed and used to collect storm water through the use of sewers, pumping stations, management facilities and Surface Drainage Facilities.
