Stocks and Shares ISA definition

Stocks and Shares ISA means an ISA that is designated as a Stocks and Shares ISA under the ISA Regulations.

  • I have not subscribed, and will not subscribe, to another Stocks and Shares ISA in the same year that I subscribe to this Stocks and Shares ISA;• I am resident in the United Kingdom for tax purposes or, if not so resident, either perform duties which, by virtue of Section 28 of The Income Tax (Earnings & Pensions) Act 2003 (Crown employees serving overseas), are treated as being performed in the United Kingdom, or I am married to, or in a civil partnership with, a person who performs such duties.

  • These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish law.These Terms will only apply to your Stocks and Shares ISA provided they are not held by a relevant court or viewed by the Financial Conduct Authority to be unfair contract terms or reasonably considered by us to be unfair contract terms.

  • The Plan is only eligible for Stocks and Shares ISA subscription.

  • You authorise the Plan Manager to give the HM Revenue and Customs all relevant details of your Stocks and Shares ISA which they may reasonably ask for at any time.

  • If such cash is held for a long period the HM Revenue and Customs could void the Stocks and Shares ISA status of the investment.

  • The maximum you can invest in a Stocks and Shares ISA in any Year is £20,000 minus anything you have paid into a Cash ISA, Innovative Finance ISA and/or a Lifetime ISA in that Year.

  • If the Plan Manager has to void your Stocks and Shares ISA because you are not eligible to hold it the Plan Manager has the right to deduct any costs or expenses it has incurred.
