Examples of State retirement system in a sentence
Consultant represents, unless otherwise indicated below, that all employees of Consultant that will provide any of the work under this Agreement have not ever been retired from a Washington State retirement system, including but not limited to Teacher (TRS), School District (SERS), Public Employee (PERS), Public Safety (PSERS), law enforcement and fire fighters (LEOFF), Washington State Patrol (WSPRS), Judicial Retirement System (JRS), or otherwise.
Benefits become effective when the former employee retires under a State retirement system.
In the event Consultant affirms that an employee providing work has ever retired from a Washington State retirement system, said employee shall be identified by Consultant, and such retirees shall provide City with all information required by City to report the employment with Consultant to the Department of Retirement Services of the State of Washington.
This 24-month limitation and the requirement of returning to active service shall not apply to persons receiving ordinary or accidental disability benefits or retirement benefits through the appropriate State retirement system or benefits under the Workers' Compensation or Occupational Disease Act.
Regular Employee: A regular employee is a person employed by USM or a USM institution who is assigned to a State budget line or who is otherwise eligible to enroll in a State retirement system.
