Examples of State forest lands in a sentence

  • The parties agree that this CONTRACT is subject to the authority of the Georgia Forestry Commission, pursuant to O.C.G.A 12-6-6, to manage State forest lands and to oversee the sale of timber and other forest products grown on such lands.

  • To rehabilitate, repair and develop State park and State forest lands and facilities and the acquisition of interior lands within State parks and State forests.

  • However, where the Commonwealth owns a fractional interest in the oil, natural gas and other minerals under State forest lands, the requirement of competitive bidding may be waived, and the department may enter into a contract to lease that fractional interest, with the approval of the Governor, and upon such terms and conditions as the department deems to be in the best interest of this Commonwealth.

  • To lease, with the approval of the Governor, State forest lands for the underground storage of natural gas, upon such terms and conditions as the secretary deems to be in the best interest of this Commonwealth.

  • When authorized by the secretary or his designee, to exercise all of the foregoing powers on State forest lands or in other areas administered by the department.

Related to State forest lands

  • Forest land means all land which is capable of supporting a merchantable stand of timber and is not being actively used for a use which is incompatible with timber growing. Forest land does not include agricultural land that is or was enrolled in the conservation reserve enhancement program by contract if such agricultural land was historically used for agricultural purposes and the landowner intends to continue to use the land for agricultural purposes in the future. For small forest landowner road maintenance and abandonment planning only, the term "forest land" excludes the following:

  • State land means land which vests in the national or a provincial government, and includes land below the high water mark and the Admiralty Reserve, but excludes land belonging to a local authority;

  • State purchased health care or "health care" means medical

  • AT&T KENTUCKY means the AT&T owned ILEC doing business in Kentucky.

  • AT&T MISSISSIPPI means the AT&T owned ILEC doing business in Mississippi.

  • State waters means all water, on the surface and under the ground, wholly or partially within or bordering the Commonwealth or within its jurisdiction, including wetlands.

  • Coastal high hazard area means a Special Flood Hazard Area extending from offshore to the inland limit of a primary frontal dune along an open coast and any other area subject to high velocity wave action from storms or seismic sources. The area is designated on a FIRM, or other adopted flood map as determined in Article 3, Section B of this ordinance, as Zone VE.

  • Cemetery means 1 or a combination of more than 1 of the following:

  • Redevelopment entity means a municipality or an entity

  • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • Ambulatory surgical center means any public or private State licensed and approved (whenever required by law) establishment with an organized medical staff of Physicians, with permanent facilities that are equipped and operated primarily for the purpose of performing Surgical Procedures, with continuous Physician services and registered professional nursing service whenever a patient is in the facility, and which does not provide service or other accommodations for patients to stay overnight.

  • AT&T SOUTH CAROLINA means the AT&T owned ILEC doing business in South Carolina.

  • Air kerma means kerma in a given mass of air. The unit used to measure the quantity of air kerma is the Gray (Gy). For X-rays with energies less than 300 kiloelectronvolts (keV), 1 Gray of absorbed dose is delivered by 114 roentgens (R) of exposure.

  • Community mental health center or "CMHC" means a facility offering a comprehensive array of community-based mental health services, including but not limited to, inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, emergency care, consultation and education; and, certain services at the option of the center, including, but not limited to, prescreening, rehabilitation services, pre-care and aftercare, training programs, and research and evaluation.

  • Commercial real estate means real estate or an interest in real estate that is not any of the following:

  • Said Land shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Paragraph I above and which is more fully and particularly described in the First Schedule written hereunder and delineated and demarcated in Annexure – A hereto;

  • State building code means the combined specialty codes.

  • adjacent land means all land that borders a property and all land that would have bordered a property, if they were not separated by a river, road, railway line, power transmission line, pipeline, or a similar feature;
