Full loss is sustained if no distribution of money and property is made by the nonqualified deferred compensation plan. The taxpayer sustains a qualifying loss only in the taxable year in which the taxpayer receives the final distribution of money and property pursuant to that nonqualified deferred compensation plan.

  • Net Income or Net Loss means, for each Fiscal Year or other applicable period, an amount equal to the Partnership’s taxable income or loss for such year or period, as determined for federal income tax purposes, determined by the Accountants in accordance with Section 703(a) of the Code (for this purpose, all items of income, gain, loss or deduction required to be stated separately pursuant to Section 703(a) of the Code shall be included in taxable income or loss), with the following adjustments:

  • Tax-Related Losses means (i) all U.S. federal, state, local and foreign income taxes (including interest and penalties thereon) imposed pursuant to any settlement, final determination, judgment or otherwise, and (ii) all legal, accounting and other professional fees and court costs incurred in connection with such taxes.

  • Extraordinary Losses Any loss incurred on a Mortgage Loan caused by or resulting from an Extraordinary Event.
