Standard Work Time definition

Standard Work Time means forty (40) hours per week; provided, however, allowable time off (including, but not limited to, holidays and vacation) is included when calculating the forty (40) hours per week. “Annual Vesting Period” means each one-year period subsequent to July 1, 2005. If you take a leave of absence (i) for medical reasons qualifying you for disability benefits or salary continuation benefits in accordance with Xxxxxx’x disability plans, or (ii) in compliance with any provincial, state, local or national family, medical or other leave law which requires Xxxxxx to continue to provide benefits under all Xxxxxx benefit plans, or (iii) which does not exceed twelve (12) weeks, you will continue to vest in your Award. If you take a leave of absence in excess of twelve (12) weeks (excluding allowable time off which includes, but is not limited to, holidays and vacation) during which you do not qualify for disability benefits or salary continuation benefits or during which Xxxxxx is not required to continue to provide benefits under all Xxxxxx benefit plans (except for military service as described in the next sentence of this paragraph) during any Annual Vesting Period, you will forfeit the portion of the Award related to such Annual Vesting Period. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, if you take a leave of absence for any service, voluntary or involuntary, in the Armed Forces of the United States, you will continue to vest in your Award.

If you take a leave of absence for nonmedical reasons (except for military service as described in the next sentence of this paragraph) and you are on leave for more than three (3) months (excluding allowable time off which includes, but is not limited to, holidays, sick days, and vacation) during any Annual Vesting Period, you will forfeit the portion of the Award related to such Annual Vesting Period; provided, however, if the state law which you are subject to allows you to take a leave of absence for nonmedical reasons for a period in excess of three (3) months, and the state law requires the Company to continue to provide benefits under all Company benefit plans, the requirements of such state law shall override this general provision. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, if you take a leave of absence for any service, voluntary or involuntary, in the Armed Forces of the United States, you will continue to vest in your Award.

Examples of Standard Work Time in a sentence

  • If you change your employment status from a full-time Employee to a part-time Employee, you will continue to vest in your Award if you work at least sixty percent (60%) of Hewitt’s Standard Work Time during the applicable Vesting Period.

  • If you work less than sixty percent (60%) of Hewitt’s Standard Work Time in a Vesting Period, you will forfeit the portion of the Award related to such Vesting Period.


More Definitions of Standard Work Time

Standard Work Time. System: Party B works no more than 8 hours per day and no more than 40 hours per week. Party B does not work on Saturdays and Sundays. When Party A arranges Party B to work overtime, it must be pre-approved. If Party B works overtime without pre-approval from Party A, he will not be entitled to overtime xxxxxxx.Xxxxx B has the right to refuse overtime arrangement that is not preapproved.

Related to Standard Work Time

  • Non-working Day means any day upon which an employee, pursuant to the terms of the contract of employment, is not available to the employer for the purposes of rostering the ordinary hours of work.

  • Work Day means any day that an Employee is regularly scheduled to work and for which the Employee receives payment from the Employer.

  • Installation Date means the date specified in the Statement of Work by which the Contractor must have the ordered Equipment ready (certified) for use by the State.

  • Start Date for Term Calculation Purposes Only: Regardless of actual award/effective date of Contract, for Agreement “term” calculation purposes only, the Agreement “start date” is the last day of the month that Award Notifications are anticipated as published in the Solicitation. Example: If the anticipated award date published in the Solicitation is August 27, 2020 but extended negotiations delay award until September 24, 2020 the end date of the resulting initial “two-year” term Agreement, (which is subject to an extension(s)) will still be August 31, 2022 in this example

  • Contract Start Date means the date specified in your Contract for Signature asthe date this Contract starts;

  • Billing Commencement Date means the earlier of:

  • Working Day means a day (other than a Saturday or Sunday) on which banks are open for general business in the City of London.

  • Contract Date means the date set for bid opening or, if this is a negotiated contract or a modification, the effective date of this contract or modification.

  • Work week means a seven (7) consecutive day week that consistently begins and ends on the same days throughout the year; i.e. Sunday through Saturday, Wednesday through Tuesday, Friday through Thursday.

  • Project Start Date means the first Milestone Start Date specified in Schedule B;

  • Construction Commencement Date means the date set out in the Addendum, if applicable, by which you must commence construction of the Hotel. For the Hotel to be considered under construction, youmust have begun to pour concrete foundations for the Hotel or otherwise satisfied any site-specific criteria for “under construction” set out in the Addendum.

  • Accumulation Commencement Date means January 1, 2021, or such later date as the Calculation Agent on behalf of the Issuer determines in accordance with Section 2.11 hereof.

  • The Completion Date means the date of completion of the Works as certified by the Employer’s Representative.

  • Scheduled Completion Date shall be the date set forth in Clause 10.3;

  • Lease Commencement Date has the meaning specified in Section 3.2 of the Master Lease.

  • Standard Turnover means the turnover achieved between the date of commencement of your business and the date of the damage, converted to the selected indemnity period.

  • Construction Completion Date means the date by which the overall development of the Project is completed in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement and when the Construction Completion Certificate is issued by the Independent Engineer as per Article 14.1.
