Spread Bets definition

Spread Bets means a leveraged financial instrument which allows clients to speculate on the movement of the price of the market of the underlying asset. When the client decides to open and/or close a Spread Bet, the difference between the Company’s bid and ask prices is referred to as the Spread and consists of the Market Spread and the Spread Charge which is being paid by the client.

Examples of Spread Bets in a sentence

  • Forex, CFDs, Spread Bets and currency Options are all exposed to volatility risk and are complex, high risk investments.

  • The transactions offered by BUX Markets are margined trades in the form of Contracts for Differences (CFDs) and Spread Bets (SBs).

  • Where the Client wishes to trade in Spread Bets, the Client should deal with the Firm in accordance with the terms of Schedule C (Spread Bets).

  • You may pay us, or reimburse us for any taxes applicable, currently or in the future, to trading in Spread Bets and/or CFDs, pursuant to this Agreement.

  • For CFDs and/or Spread Bets traded in a currency other than the Account’s Base Currency we will use the mid price rate at the time of the trade being closed with a 0.3% charge.

  • Our Electronic Services will normally be available from 00:00 UTC Monday until 22:00 UTC Friday, every week, excluding public holidays, periods where the markets for the underlying assets of the CFDs and/or Spread Bets do not operate and cases where the markets are closed due to illiquidity in the financial instruments.

  • This may be set the same for both of the Account types (CFDs and Spread Bets) or differently.

  • In these Terms “instructions” and “orders” in CFDs and/or Spread Bets have the same meaning.

  • Outside those hours, we will be under no obligation to, but may, at our absolute discretion, provide a quote and accept and act on your offer to open or close a Transaction in respect to CFDs and/or Spread Bets.

Related to Spread Bets

  • Spread Value means, with respect to a share of Stock subject to an Award, an amount equal to the excess of the Fair Market Value, on the date such value is determined, over the Award’s exercise or grant price, if any.

  • Underwritten Net Cash Flow means, as of any date of determination, the excess of: (i) for the twelve (12) month period ending on such date, the sum of (A) the lesser of (1) GPR multiplied by 94.0%, and (2) Actual Rent Collections, and (B) Other Receipts; over (ii) for the twelve (12) month period ending on such date, the sum of (A) Operating Expenses, adjusted to reflect exclusion of amounts representing non-recurring expenses, (B) Underwritten Capital Expenditures and (C)

  • Spread pricing means the model of prescription drug pricing in which the pharmacy benefits

  • Required Spread Account Amount means, for the March 2012 Payment Date and the April 2012 Payment Date, zero, and for any Payment Date thereafter, the product of (i) the Spread Account Percentage in effect on such date and (ii) during (x) the Revolving Period, the Collateral Amount, and (y) during the Controlled Accumulation Period or the Early Amortization Period, the Collateral Amount as of the last day of the Revolving Period; provided that, prior to the occurrence of an Event of Default and acceleration of the Series 2012-1 Notes, the Required Spread Account Amount will never exceed the Class C Note Principal Balance (after taking into account any payments to be made on such Payment Date).

  • Prepayment Period With respect to any Distribution Date, the calendar month preceding the calendar month in which such Distribution Date occurs.

  • Mixed beverage or "mixed alcoholic beverage" means a drink composed in whole or in part of

  • Available Spread Account Amount means, for any Transfer Date, an amount equal to the lesser of (a) the amount on deposit in the Spread Account (exclusive of Investment Earnings on such date and before giving effect to any deposit to, or withdrawal from, the Spread Account made or to be made with respect to such date) and (b) the Required Spread Account Amount, in each case on such Transfer Date.

  • Retained Excess Cash Flow Amount means, at any date of determination, an amount, determined on a cumulative basis, that is equal to the aggregate cumulative sum of the Excess Cash Flow that is not required to be applied as a mandatory prepayment under Section 2.11(b)(i) for all Excess Cash Flow Periods ending after the Closing Date and prior to such date; provided that such amount shall not be less than zero for any Excess Cash Flow Period.

  • Spread Multiplier is the percentage specified on the face hereof of the related Interest Rate Basis or Interest Rate Bases applicable to this Note by which the Interest Rate Basis or Interest Rate Bases will be multiplied to determine the applicable interest rate. The “Index Maturity” is the period to maturity of the instrument or obligation with respect to which the related Interest Rate Basis or Interest Rate Bases will be calculated.

  • Principal Prepayment Amount For any Distribution Date and for any Loan Group, the sum with respect to the Mortgage Loans in such Loan Group of (i) Curtailments received during the Prior Period from such Mortgage Loans and (ii) Payoffs received during the Payoff Period from such Mortgage Loans.

  • Prepayment Interest Excess Amount With respect to any Principal Prepayment in full which is applied to the related Mortgage Loan from the first day of the month of any Remittance Date through the sixteenth day of the month of such Remittance Date, all amounts paid in respect of interest on such Principal Prepayment in full. A Prepayment Interest Excess Amount cannot result from a Principal Prepayment in part, but only from a Principal Prepayment in full.

  • VWAP Purchase Amount means, with respect to any particular VWAP Purchase Notice, the portion of the Available Amount to be purchased by the Buyer pursuant to Section 1(c) hereof pursuant to a valid VWAP Purchase Notice which requires the Buyer to buy the VWAP Purchase Share Percentage of the aggregate shares traded on the Principal Market during normal trading hours on the VWAP Purchase Date up to the VWAP Purchase Share Volume Maximum, subject to the VWAP Minimum Price Threshold.

  • Principal Prepayment Period The month preceding the month in which the related Remittance Date occurs.

  • Discount Amount means initially $6,549,982; provided that following any issuance of additional Class C(2020-5) Notes in accordance with Section 2.09, the Discount Amount shall mean the amount specified in the Notice of Additional Issuance.

  • Specified Spread Account Balance means on the Closing Date, % of the sum of the Pool Balance as of the [Initial] Cutoff Date and on any Payment Date thereafter the lesser of, (a) % of the [sum of (i) the] Pool Balance as of the [Initial] Cutoff Date [plus (ii) the aggregate Contract Value of all Subsequent Receivables sold to the Trust as of their respective Cutoff Dates] and (b) the outstanding principal amount of the Notes. However, if (A) the Specified Spread Account Reduction Trigger is met on the Payment Date in [Month] 20XX or any Payment Date thereafter, the percentage in clause (a) will be reduced to % on such Payment Date and will remain at such percentage for each Payment Date thereafter unless further reduced on the Payment Dates as provided in the following clauses (B), (C) or (D); (B) if the Specified Spread Account Reduction Trigger is met on the Payment Date in [Month] 20XX or any Payment Date thereafter, the percentage in clause (a) of the preceding sentence will be reduced to % on such Payment Date (regardless of whether the Specified Spread Account Reduction Trigger was met on the Payment Date in [Month] 20XX or any Payment Date thereafter and will remain at such percentage for each Payment Date thereafter unless further reduced on the Payment Date as provided in the following clause (C) or (D); (C) the Specified Spread Account Reduction Trigger is met on the Payment Date in [Month] 20XX or any Payment Date thereafter, the percentage in clause (a) of the preceding sentence will be reduced to % on such Payment Date (regardless of whether the Specified Spread Account Reduction Trigger was met on the Payment Dates in [Month] 20XX or any Payment Date thereafter or [Month] 20XX or any Payment Date thereafter) and will remain at such percentage for each Payment Date thereafter unless further reduced on the Payment Date as provided in the following clause (D); and (D) the Specified Spread Account Reduction Trigger is met on the Payment Date in [Month] 20XX or any Payment Date thereafter, the percentage in clause (a) of the preceding sentence will be reduced to % on such Payment Date (regardless of whether the Specified Spread Account Reduction Trigger was met on the Payment Dates in [Month] 20XX or any Payment Date thereafter, [Month] 20XX or any Payment Date thereafter or [Month] 20XX or any Payment Date thereafter) and will remain at such percentage for each Payment Date thereafter. In addition to the ability to amend the “Specified Spread Account Balance” definition pursuant to Section 9.1(a) of the Indenture, the Specified Spread Account Balance may also be reduced or modified without the consent of the Holders of the Notes if the Rating Agency Condition is satisfied with respect to such reduction or modification.

  • Excess Spread Percentage for any Distribution Date means a fraction, the numerator of which is the Excess Spread Amount for such Distribution Date multiplied by 12 and the denominator of which is the sum of the Nominal Liquidation Amounts of all Tranches of DiscoverSeries Notes as of the first day of the related Due Period.

  • Prepaid Monthly Payment Any Monthly Payment received prior to its scheduled Due Date, which is intended to be applied to a Mortgage Loan on its scheduled Due Date and held in the related Custodial Account for P&I until the Withdrawal Date following its scheduled Due Date.

  • Unpaid Principal Balance With respect to any Mortgage Loan, the outstanding principal balance payable by the Borrower under the terms of the Mortgage Note.

  • Distressed Principal Balance With respect to any Payment Date, the sum, without duplication, of the UPB of Reference Obligations that meet any of the following criteria: (a) Reference Obligations that are 60 days or more delinquent; (b) Reference Obligations that are in foreclosure, bankruptcy, or REO status; or (c) Reference Obligations that were modified in the 12 months preceding the end of the related Reporting Period. DTC: The Depository Trust Company, a limited-purpose trust company, which holds securities for DTC Participants and facilitates the clearance and settlement of transactions between DTC participants through electronic book-entry changes in accounts of DTC participants. DTC Participants: Participants in the DTC System. DTC Notes: Notes cleared, settled and maintained on the DTC System, registered in the name of a nominee of DTC. All of the Notes will be DTC Notes at issuance.

  • Payoff Period For the first Distribution Date, the period from the Cut-Off Date through November 14, 2005, inclusive; and for any Distribution Date thereafter, the period from the 15th day of the Prior Period through the 14th day of the month of such Distribution Date, inclusive.

  • Apportionable vehicle means (except as provided below) any Power Unit that is used or intended for use in two or more Member Jurisdictions and that is used for the transportation of persons for hire or designed, used, or maintained primarily for the transportation of property, and:

  • Daily Cash Amount means, with respect to any VWAP Trading Day, the lesser of (A) the applicable Daily Maximum Cash Amount; and (B) the Daily Conversion Value for such VWAP Trading Day.

  • Average Principal Balance means for any Monthly Period in which a Reset Date occurs, the sum of (i) the Aggregate Principal Receivables determined as of the close of business on the last day of the prior Monthly Period, multiplied by a fraction the numerator of which is the number of days from and including the first day of such Monthly Period, to but excluding the related Reset Date, and the denominator of which is the number of days in such Monthly Period, and (ii) for each such Reset Date, the product of the Aggregate Principal Receivables determined as of the close of business on such Reset Date, multiplied by a fraction, the numerator of which is the number of days from and including such Reset Date, to the earlier of the last day of such Monthly Period (in which case such period shall include such date) or the next succeeding Reset Date (in which case such period shall exclude such date), and the denominator of which is the number of days in such Monthly Period.
