Specialty Products definition

Specialty Products means petroleum products listed in Item No. 112 and any other petroleum products that otherwise meet the Carrier’s specifications as provided in Item 10 and have an API gravity of less than 30 degrees at 60 degrees Fahrenheit, and/or require special handling.
Specialty Products means those injectable and non-injectable drugs on the Specialty Product List. Specialty Products typically have one or more of several key characteristics, including: frequent dosing adjustments and intensive clinical monitoring to decrease the potential for drug toxicity and increase the probability for beneficial treatment outcomes; intensive patient training and compliance assistance to facilitate therapeutic goals; limited or exclusive product availability and distribution; specialized product handling and/or administration requirements and/or cost in excess of $500 for a 30 day supply. Specialty Products elected for coverage shall be considered “Covered Drugs” as defined in the Agreement.
Specialty Products means those covered drugs that are designated by Administrator as Specialty Products on account of such covered drugs having particular characteristics, including one or more of the following: (a) they address complex, chronic diseases with many associated co-morbidities (e.g., cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, hemophilia, multiple sclerosis); (b) they require a greater amount of pharmaceutical oversight and clinical monitoring for side effect management and to limit waste; (c) they have limited pharmaceutical supply chain distribution, as determined by the product’s manufacturer; and/or (d) their relative expense.

More Definitions of Specialty Products

Specialty Products means the following products of Buyer Parent: Copaxone, Azilect, Nuvigil, Treanda and Fentura.
Specialty Products means those injectable and non-injectable drugs on the Specialty Product List. Specialty Products, which may be administered by any route of administration, are typically used to treat chronic or complex conditions, and typically have one or more of several key characteristics, including frequent dosing adjustments and intensive clinical monitoring to decrease the potential for drug toxicity and increase the probability for beneficial treatment outcomes; intensive patient training and compliance assistance to facilitate therapeutic goals; limited or exclusive product availability and distribution (if a drug is only available through limited specialty pharmacy distribution it is always considered a Specialty Product); specialized product handling and/or administration requirements.
Specialty Products means those Primary Products marked ------------------ with an asterisk on Schedule 1. ----------
