Special Assessments definition

Special Assessments means any of the following, except as otherwise provided in subsection (6):
Special Assessments means guaranty fund assessments, Second Injury Fund assessments, Vocational Rehabilitation Fund Assessments, and other similar assessments. Special assessments shall not be considered as either expenses or losses.
Special Assessments means the Special Assessments levied pursuant to the provisions of Sections C and D below in each Fiscal Year on each Appraiser's Parcel of Developed Property and Undeveloped Property in the CDD to fund the Special Assessment Requirement.

Examples of Special Assessments in a sentence

  • No Member shall be charged with more than their equal share of any Special Assessments as determined by the Board of Directors.

  • In addition to the Regular Assessments, the Member shall also pay any Special Assessments levied by the Board of Directors.

  • Special Assessments shall be levied as provided in the Bylaws for the purpose of defraying, in whole or in part, the common expenses of the Cooperative for any fiscal year, including but not limited to unanticipated delinquencies, costs of construction, unexpected repairs or replacement or reconstruction of capital improvements in or on the Park.

  • Special Assessments approved after Closing shall be the responsibility of the Buyer.

  • The assessments by the Koa Ridge Owners Association shall include Base Assessments, and also may include Special Benefited Area Assessments, Special Assessments and Specific Assessments, as described in the Koa Ridge Covenants.


More Definitions of Special Assessments

Special Assessments means the non-ad valorem assessments authorized by the Supplemental Act and levied by the Agency on property owned by participating property owner who has entered into a Financing Agreement with the Agency to fund the costs of Qualifying Improvements.
Special Assessments means "assessment" as defined in this section.

Special Assessments means the special assessments levied by the Board pursuant to Section 11.4 of the Bylaws and due from the Member to the Cooperative pursuant to Article 3 of the Occupancy Agreement.

Additional charges collected by the insurer and returned to a governmental agency on behalf of an insured are not special assessments. Examples of these additional charges include, but are not limited to, the Special Fund charge for workers’ compensation imposed by KRS Chapter 342, local government premium tax imposed by KRS 91A.080, and the Revenue Cabinet surcharge imposed by KRS Chapter 136.
