Spare Aircraft is defined in Section 2.1(d).
Spare Aircraft means any Covered Aircraft that is designated by Contractor as spare aircraft pursuant to Section 2.01(d), which may be used by Contractor to replace another aircraft in the operation of a Scheduled Flight that otherwise would be cancelled or as otherwise provided in Section 2.01(d).
Spare Aircraft means a Boeing 767-200 series freighter aircraft or Boeing 767-300 series freighter aircraft owned by ABX or its Affiliate and equipped with a standard cargo door.
Examples of Spare Aircraft in a sentence
Notwithstanding anything in the preceding sentence to the contrary, if Contractor and United mutually agree in writing that Spare Aircraft has not been evenly distributed throughout the network flown by Contractor (i.e., if all Spares are E175LL Spare Aircraft), then Contractor may operate an E175LL Spare Aircraft for a Scheduled Flight originally scheduled for an E175 Covered Aircraft.
Except for the cost reimbursement and fee described in this Section 2.12, a Carrier’s performance of the Services utilizing a Spare Aircraft in accordance with this Section will otherwise be subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
In the event that an Aircraft is unavailable due to a Carrier Delay and the Carrier provides a Spare Aircraft, the Carrier will reimburse Amazon for any landing fees, or other costs (excluding, for clarity, incremental fuel burn, but including ferry flights and Block Hours) in excess of those that Amazon would have incurred under Section 2.6 had the flights been operated with the affected Aircraft.
